Since there hasn't been a declaration of the winner of this contest, I would be honored to apply with some of my creations. I'm a bit late, I admit.. but hey, who never knows?

As some decent cloud-inspired design has already been displayed on this topic, it was quite hard to get started on this. I begin to imagine something different, starting with those ordinary clouds as Gimli has wished. (Hey there, old man - long time no see. ;) The hardest part was to produce something actually different. A cloud, check.. second.. meh.. What else could I add?

I started browsing some fonts I had installed, and there it was. A "HOBO STD" -font. A font I (or anyone else) would probably never use to create anything. But it wasn't that bad in this very consept - behind the clouds I had previously created. And DAMN, add some good old Argonath colours into it.. there it is! A rocket, spaceshuttle - going above clouds.

Above clouds.. and upwards. In my opinion it's somewhat a great symbol of the community. Going together upwards, away from the clouds, reaching for something bigger together. Meh - enough talking, watch the four five different versions of logos I've created below. Thanks!

Ah, good times.

I took a second look after this space-shuttle thing of mine on my previous post. Realized that while the idea was in my opinion great, they wouldn't have been suitable for a header logo of a website. Yeh, I know..

In order to be suitable for being a logo or icon of pretty much anything, it must be a shape or atleast have some kind of symmetricity in it. Well, I made another one, based on those highly wished clouds.. or a cloud to be more accurate. Enjoy it! I did. Just to note, there's a better quality version with smoother edges available, as well as original PSD, ofc.



By the way, it would be great to know if this "competition" even exists nowadays, or has it been abandoned. :o And hey, is symmetricity an actual word? Thanks.

Edit #1 - replaced original oversized preview with a bit smaller and polished () version.
Edit #2 - replaced smaller preview image from Edit #1 with a higher quality, re-polished 512px logo preview. That should be the final version, fellas. I'm quite happy with it. :)
