Server does sometimes show as offline due to huge downtime amounts

Just keep looking, it'll be on eventually (it's up at this moment)

Why? If he can't see the server as online when it is indeed online, that is most likely the reason. Entire countries and blocks of IP ranges have been routeblocked due to abusive users. Most IP addresses are dynamic and get reused over time. He could just be an innocent person caught in a malicious user's routeblock by mistake.

If you're down on such road there's no coming back anytime soon.

Some routeblocks can be accidental too. If that's the case, he just needs to follow the steps in the News And Announcements topic about it.

A routeblock does not ban proxies, it bans IP's. A proxy just uses an unused IP somewhere in the world. If the user is caught in a routeblock, an exception can be easily added.

SOMETIMES!? It is almost a daily basis of crashing now. I played like 45 minutes ago, playing for 5 - 6 minutes with some other guy and it crashed.
