I love laptops. However they have many cons, such as it overheats to much, you need to watch after your battery now and then, its more costly to fix/maintain, and a laptop is always more expensive than a PC.

A PC on the other hand is great for gaming or being turned on all day, 24/7. Its way more cheaper, parts are cheaper, and you can install hardware/RAM etc. by yourself.

A powerful/gaming PC is not as expensive.
A regular/non-gaming laptop is costly, and a gaming laptop... hell of a price!

I think a powerful PC is better than a laptop.

Although laptops are mostly used if you travel alot.

But ofc, both cost waaaaaaaaay over $1000

for $800 best one is Samsung NP550P5C-S04 if you can get it. It has same specs as the first one but a third gen i5, which makes no difference.

and oh, the Samsung ones also have a battery backup of 7-9 hours. :p
