Good day, Court of Argonath Vice City.

I am [EAF]Sorrow, owner of the 24/7 business in Vice Point.
Today, an officer of the law caused majure damage to my business by driving through my business with a PCJ 600.

Even when I asked multiple times to park the bike outside, the officer named Izaki just kept on going.

He rammed into my stacks from a distance, he drifted over my floor and caused damage to my products.

Therefore I wish to be indemnified.

As you can see in the following pictures, the cop drives through whole my store, causing damage all over the place.

The damage I had to fix had a total amount of $10,000 ARD.

I hereby claim this $10,000 at Izaki, where he is responsible for all the damage.

Thank you in advance.

Ohhh so you're saying you're hurt, pansy? It's just a few holes, tough it out.

Quote from: Gandalf
Any cases opened against individual officers can be only if the respective officers have been dishonourly discharged as a result of their conduct after investigation was held.

The State of Vice City offers its sincere apologies for the inconvenience suffered.
Not 100% sure if this applies here but I'd think it does  :trust:

That would mean that any individual officer would be able to do everything he wants without a courtcase?

I am not suing the whole PD in this situation, I sue the man responsible for the damage.
If the man would of been a citizen instead of a police officer, it wouldn't of made a difference.

I think it's saying that the officer needs to be fired from the PD first before he or she can be sued in court.

Since ARPD Officers aren't part of the PD already, I'm assuming they would be one of those open for going straight to a lawsuit.

You don't need to. If the Officer is not part of VCPD itself, you can skip straight to suing him.

I know. My comments were in response to the questions regarding Gandalf's quote. :P

We will be able to pick up this case and have it processed.

Regarding the quote - Gandalf had got in contact with the Court earlier and we discussed the semi-official rule briefly. It's more applicable to people that are part of the official police department. Gandalf did not clarify the situation with ARPD officers/'freecops', but procedure should remain same as it was in the past.

Some situations can be tricky to evaluate in Court, especially if it's stepping into rulebreaking or lacking in roleplay altogether. Most of the time we will have to take each situation individually to ensure that cases aren't being discredited.

The Chief Justice has said that it's not up to someone to come and post an irrelevant quote to try and close a case, as we have seen in the past, especially when they don't have any right at all (not referring to this case or points mentioned already). Leave it be and we can sort it out efficiently.

Would it be okay to close the case now, since we've determined that this might have likely been a (out of RP) new player who did not really know what they were doing, and presumably never made it to the court?
