No. They are waiting for IV:MP RC3 to come out because RC2 is causing too many people to crash when joining.

There has been alot of scripting and testing on the RC2 server, but it's almost impossible to develop it further as we are now. RC2 is very unstable, for developers and players.

I dont think that nightlies gonna save us at all, people on ivmp forum still declares that they suffer about sync and crashes. As I understand there is a problem like or stability or sync each time they do an update.

IV:MP was stable before, so I think as long as they try to fix client, instead of adding new stuff, they will eventually figure it out and fix those crashes. I just hope that they wont give up before they manage to do that.

Nah, they re still trying to fix, but as I see and understand from comments they just go 1 forward 1 backward... :/

They are the only ones creating a GTA multiplayer mod for GTA IV. They are the only ones who have successfully done such already. They can't predict what bugs or issues will arise, nor do they have any already-known fixes for them. It's constant trial, error, and testing.

Just wanted to say "hello" to IV:MP friends. That IV:MP was really something special, I know it's in bad shape now but I really hope it can be good as it was before...  ;)

Actually, some of the nightlies we've used between RC1 and RC2 proved to be much better in terms of stability and sync than the official releases. :razz:

I would say at least 20x more stable and with many more functions...

The only people who would have any idea of that is the IV:MP mod development team themselves...and even then, they probably aren't sure because bug-fixing can be a tedious and frustrating process.
