I have been using a laptop with following specs:core I5 430 2.2ghz --4gb ram --ati Radeon 512mb(no info about model available).
The point is that when I ever switched it to high performance It just used to get hot and very hot when playing games.I even had a lil laptop stand with fan installed in it.I always turned it on but still the result to cool down the laptop was not achieved.
Now I am going to buy a laptop with I7 3630qm with 8gb ram and 2gb Radeon 7730m.I totally believe that now the laptops gonna meltdown.

Any advice?

It won't melt down.  :D The worst that can happen is it'll throttle at high temps (FPS drops) So do read reviews online before you buy one :p Google "Model name - throttling"

Use this to monitor temps, upto 105C is safe in newer gen chipsets.

And to keep it cool, purchase a cooler master cooling pad, those are the best!

Also remember most electronics will just turn off automatically when overheated, so no need to worry of damages.

It won't overheated if you don't do anything stupid with it (overclocking). I personally use a program called OpenHardWare monitor, you don't need to install it and it gives for me every single detail of my PC. Including fan speeds etc. It works the best on Windows 7 and on Windows 8. And yeah, don't forget they try to put a lot of performance in a small box.. That does  indeed get hot, can't help it.
