Star Wars VS Lord Of The Rings

The Stars Wars films are great, but I enjoy the LOTR movies more.

Lord of the Rings in funny translation... The funny translation of Star Wars sucked...)))

As for original movies - very difficult to compare...

Star Wars - when I saw the first three episodes (4-6), I was like wow! ... That time it was really cool... Especially chase on space scooters... But when effects raise its level now it is looking funny and naive... Other 3 episodes (1-3) already have nothing to excite in effects and storyline sucks totally...

Lord Of the Rings - actually I liked the second part... The episode with riders on hyenas was nice... But... To watch LOTR in original soundtrack - bored and sleepy... That is why I prefer only funny translation with Rammstein, Bob Marley, Scooter, The Doors, Deep Purple, etc...
When the orcs started moving their forces with the green light in sky, Gandalf told to Pippin "or it is a nuclear bomb test by Sauron, or special effects of Rammstein's concert...

But actually, the 3 last episodes of Star Wars I was also sleeping, while did not see the funny translation...

I prefer LOTR, i love every part. It is the best fantasy movie i have ever seen. I never really liked Star Wars.  :redface:

 Star Wars is in the future..  LOTR Middle Earth the past and fanasty.. both are Unreal, but I watched Star Wars in 1997 when they came out again for Special edition very cool. I like both trilogies, but Star Wars is better. Hint* Watch the movies in the original US format its much better, because you get the original voices of the characters and I am sure they sound much better.

I love Star Wars and LOTR but I have to say I was into LOTR more then Star Wars. I was fan of lightsaber too!

 Even though I play on this server and its called Argonath, don't mean I like LOTR. I really don't think its better then Star Wars.. you need to watch all of them and try to understand. Its just like LOTR, watch all of them to fully understand the whole story. Star Wars is better! Fuck LOTR

Star Wars 4- A New Hope. Darth Vader's Son Luke Skywalker meets Obi Wan from Episode 3, R2D2 and C-3PO land on Luke's planet evading the Empire and having the plans to kill the Death Star. Vader sends storm troopers to find the droids, the storm troopers find Luke's house and kill his aunt and uncle. Luke decides to go with Obi Wan and the droids they find to a bar to find a pilot. They find Han Solo and Chewbecca, they leave to go to Aldrean the Rebels base. Later on.. Darth Vader finds out that this planet is the Rebels base and kills it with the Death Star. Luke and his friends cant find the planet because its dead now.. and run into the Death Star... they have to dock inside and hide.. they get out and do things, Obi is killed by Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker, Luke and friends find a way to leave.They find another planet with the rebels and have a attack on the Death Star and kill it. The End

 Star Wars 5- Empire Strikes Back. The Darkest Star Wars film of all, because so much failure and death of the good guys. Well... The Rebels move there main base the planet Hoth, later on the Empire finds this and has a battle with the Rebels on land. The Empire kills the base and all Rebels must escape. Luke goes to a planet called Debath to find Yoda, cause dead Obi ghost told him to get trainings there. Luke finds the trains with Yoda.. other things happen to Leia and Han and Chewie, they vist Cloud City to find Hans friend. Hans friends betrys Han and The Empire is there at the city.. Han is captured and put into a freeze for a bounty hunter called Boba Fett at the city. Luke feels this and flies his ship to Cloud City to save his friends. Luke has a light saber fight with Vader and later on.. Vader tells Luke that he is his father. Luke gets his hand chopped off and runs. Everyone escapes Cloud City, but for Han.

 Thats all I will tell for now.....

 I like the story better then LOTR, LOTR is all about Hobits puting a ring into a volcano..WTF?

 I dont think its fair to use LOTR vs Star Wars since most here like LOTR and know more..
