LOTR Is Way better than SW because there is ACTION!!!! Lots of it!! I Have Not once Fallen Asleep during any LOTR movie.. Starwars ont he other Hand... its Hard for me to Stay Awake I Like action... Drama in LOTR yes there is... umm in Star Wars drama... OMG IM FALLING SAVE ME ............ then they get saved..... or.. OMG I NEED A LIGHT SABER!!! ... use De fork luke use de Fork... umm no.. The best is SW3 There is like 7 SW movies... Jeez... 4-7 made in 1936 At Least
1-3 is in 2000+

BTW PMP... Umm.. The Difference Between SW and LOTR... is its about 5000 years apart... SW Is Revolving about like 80 things... LOTR is on 1 ....

Watti, if you actually watch all of the Star wars movies (theres only 6 btw) You would probably know the story line instead of just listening to what you want to see and hear. By the way the very first star wars movie (A new Hope) was made in 1977, Which for its time was a classic. Watti just because the movie was made back when the graphics and special effects where not as advanced as in the 21st century doesn not mean that the movie is any less worth buying. If star wars episodes 4,5 and 6 where to be re-made with todays state of the art effects what do you think would be the outcome?

I would say that they are both great series.

I have a prefference for Star Wars thought.

The reason I like Star Wars better is because of the "style" of fantasy, that whole intergalactic thing and teh future interests me more than Warcraft style medieval times (YES, WARCRAFT STYLE!!!)

Actually, if you watch the DVDs of the 4,5,6 starwars episodes you will notice that effects were digitaly added to the film, you can see in tantooine scenes, more aliens walking around the city and some cut scenes were also added and improved cause what george lucas wanted to do back then was only possible now.
So, if you still didn't watch the digital remastered version, I recommend, cause it's gotta seriously updated.
So Watti, theres even too version of the classic SW, the classic classic and the updated classic.

Now, let's talk about actors, SW was clearly better actor than LOTR, for example, Harrison Ford.

Star Wars.

I almost fell asleep in The Two Towers and, especially, in The Return of the King.

Only Episode 3 of Star Wars is not so good, and thats just because it tries to do too many things.
I personally prefer any of the Star Wars movies to LOTR RotK, though the Two Towers battle scene was kinda cool.

But, I'd Have to say Star Wars.. Teh reason George Lucas made 4-6 back in the day was because he always wanted to realease the prequel series after the originals came out.
But, I really enjoyed the second LOTR movie. But, STAR WARS PWNS LOTR!!
