Haris Gogic, 19 and Mirza Gogic, 23, were shot last Friday during a robbery happening in their convenience in South Saint Louis. When the brothers heard Mirza Gogic's girlfriend, the cashier, screaming, they rushed in. Mirza Gogic came in with a bat, and when the robber noticed the two, he opened fire on both of them. Mirza Gogic was shot in the arm and is in stable condition. Haris Gogic was shot in the head and was pronounced dead later in the hospital.

He was young, had a great personality and overall a great person, but there's people in the world that ruin all of that just like that. The two brothers opened the convenience store not only to make a decent living, but also to help the community. They gave free food to people in need. A ceremony was held yesterday, and hundreds of people visited to pay respect to the family and friends of Haris Gogic. There was so much love from the people, that they were able to raise nearly $6,000 for the family in 18 hours!
