Lets say Argonath was a community which made a substantial amount of profits, or, any degree of profits. Law enforcement would investigate and take action a lot more quickly. Typically when you start speaking loss of profits over a crime, including cyber they will investigate and they will execute action.

Lookup "n3ptun0". He was an infamous "hacker" who ddos'd SA:MP servers and has attacked a few sites and IRC networks in the GTA MP community. He was arrested after an investigation.

There are many more examples you could find which took place on smaller scales and smaller communities even than our own.

That isn't profit since the money goes back into the server. Profit would be if the income was greater than the expenses and the leftover was kept. In our case the income is far less than the expenses thus not profit.

Well donations are an income as income really means any money coming in, and donations do go in, what it's spent on doesn't matter as I doubt Argonath's owners by law have to spend the money on the server, no I'm not implying they spend donations on themselves..
