Leukemia is the abnormal increase of white blood cells, and HIV attacks white blood cells. So yes, you can genetically modify the virus to attack these benign cells.

To think that using a virus to combat a virus results in the cure for both, amazing!

Well, this treatment might cure leukemia (though there are various "versions" of it, so this may only cure one "version" while the others are still untreatable), but there's so many more kinds of cancer.

It's a huge leap to be able to treat leukemia but there's still many other forms of cancer which are still basically untreatable.

Let's hope they find cures for that, soon, as well.

It's not bad to make a mistake. It's what you do after, that's important.
What is messed up is your perception of IV:MP. Probably because they do not allow guys without balls there.

According to their goal they are trying to have it target cancer cells, not just Leukemia. However it is a significant step in the right direction as you said.

What do you mean for both? They will be causing and injecting the HIV virus, however will not cure, prevent or cause (from its direct source) the aids virus. It would be interesting however to see this concept applied against the AIDS virus.

It's like -2 x -2 = +4 , I hope it works, People suffered enough here though, 40% of the Egyptian people are suffering the cancer, We could treat 15% of them, Ofcourse god is the main reason of the treatment of all those people but let's wish we can fix that.
