I would like to thank Gandalf especially for the great job he is doing. Even if the server is not yet open, I find it amazing that Gandalf tries to solve it and that glads me. Without Gandalf, nothing of this would have been existed, their wouldn't have been a community at all and I would like to thank him for that too, that he keeps fighting for terrorism and still be able to host the services he do.

I hope Gandalf keep working on Argonath as a whole and that he develop it further away. I wish that the community will stay as it is right now and that people are understanding what is going on right now with the server and what work Gandalf really puts into this!

He does all of this for free, he charges nothing for any of his services with is really nice done! So guys, are you with me to donate some money to this hardworking-community man? Do you want Argonath to remain what it is today? Do you believe that Argonath should no longer suffer from DDOS attacks? Well, I made up my mind, I will donate even if it's not to much, it's still a contribution to the community!

I hope you do the same thing!

I've seen many communities get created by people and fall shortly after, some last but they always tend to die after a couple of attacks or problems as the leaders aren't willing to put in the time to strengthen their servers and communities.

Now this can't be said for Argonath, since I first began here I have always seen Gandalf doing all he can.
He spends the time necessary to ensure things keep moving on smoothly even when he is busy with other tasks in life including work, but he is always able to make time for the community which he has created along with his helpers and not to forget the loyal players.

Many others create servers and communities with the idea it will be player run by donations and so on, fortunately for us Gandalf has a goal in mind, to create a server for the players, not for the money or donations even though donations are welcome to help with the expenses.
It's something to be inspired by, he is willing to spend his time and money on a server for others to enjoy, as seen recently, even if some pests come knocking on the door and try cause trouble, he knocks back instead of trying to hide away.

Simply put, no matter what happens he always seems to have a "never back down" attitude towards trouble makers, someone threatens his community, he deals with them accordingly and not to forget, is always entertaining to say the least.

To add to all the good words being said here;

Gandalf (Ronnel) is a great guy to speak with as person as well. He helps people out with emotional problems, problems in-game and even RL problems, according to some people I know..

As soon as I get a stable income, I'll do my best to see what I can do for the community financially.

Your application has been denied!
Reason : You are too good for our family.

These would be kind and true words, but they cannot be taken as such when spoken by a hypocrite. Werent you the one who not so long ago posted forum hate on Gandalf and Argonath ownership in particular, claiming that they're not able to handle their own traffic and doing a bad job, then getting forum banned?

Over 10 years in Argonath

Misunderstanding people in certain situations can aggravate others leading to meaningless outbursts at times, unfortunately many of us have made some bad choices of actions in our past but the future is there for everyone to move on and learn from their mistakes and continue improving.  :girl:

If you would read the whole story about it, you would have been know I got the upper respect for Gandalf.

I didn't make that topic, actually Gandalf itself lifted off what I wrote in "SA:MP - Developers answer: give examples" and made a topic in the name of me. The ban was clearly a indicator that one of the administrator thought I meant any harm to Gandalf itself, which I don't. I ab dour him, but when the DDOS attacks are harming the community, there have to be acts to reduce them. It has to be action against them. My words toward Gandalf was maybe a bit rude, anger comes in hand of flaming and that's something I need to work on.

Calling me a hypocrite is likely wrong.
