Hey there, chaps.

Wanted to purchase a new PC (I'll probably get it by the end of this year). Below are the specifications that seemed within my price range, wanted to know if they're adequate, or do I have to go for an upgrade on some parts to get reasonable performance (not the best, will settle for moderate) (NOTE: This is a branded AMD PC, by CyberPowerGaming, it'll be cheaper and there are no shops anywhere near where I could actually seek advice on building a CPU or actually purchase parts, and not having any experience whatsoever, don't wanna build one online)

AMD FX-4350 CPU
8GB DDR3/1600Mhz ram
AMD HD7770 1GB Video
ASUS M5A78LM USB3SATA3 MB
1 TB SATA-3 hard drive
24x Double DVD
Coolermaster Elite 430 case

Is the above adequate for running the recent stuff, or would I be hard-pressed playing video games and have to upgrade it very near in the future?

Around £600, this one is gonna cost me about 510 and will have to purchase a new HD LCD as well, so might stretch it to 700.

If you can, make the Pc yourself.. It's less expensive and you can get better stuff.

That would most certainly run the newer games, but not with highest settings. But 700 for that PC with a monitor? I call it a rip-off (unless you have included in an operating system)

About the need to upgrade, yes, in a year or two I see you having the need to upgrade atleast the GPU, which when the CPU would become a bottleneck and there we go with upgrading the whole set :D

thought about that, seems i'll need to get one with slightly better requirements  :v:
results were quite underwhelming in the benchmark tests

seems like a pretty good deal
i could go for a radeon r7 260x (40 pounds cheaper than the 660) and a amd fx 6300 instead. 8gb ram and the os thrown in for good measure
