Egypt's presidency has declared a state of emergency after scores of people were killed when security forces stormed protest camps in Cairo.

The camps had been occupied by supporters of former president Mohammed Morsi, who was deposed in early July. Security forces say 95 people have been killed. But the Muslim Brotherhood, which backed the protests, says hundreds have died.

The state of emergency is scheduled to last for a month.

Shortly after dawn on Wednesday morning, armoured bulldozers moved deep into the main protest camp outside the eastern Rabaa al-Adawiya mosque.

Officials say the other protest camp, at Nahda Square, has also been cleared. Reporters described wounded protesters being treated next to the dead in makeshift field hospitals.

The soldiers are burning all who died because they don't want to let other see.
I can't fucking know why they are doing that Morsi is good....About 2.200 died and they even don't have weapons, why they are shooting at them or putting bombs to blow them!

The country was democratic until someone decided to cause enough uproar to let it fall in to chaos.
Read my past comments and you will see that, unfortunately, I was right.

When?

During the Pharaoh reign, probably.

I predicted this .. Funny, if you look at the topic where someone reported Morsi being removed, I said that this will lead into a chaos and endless protesters. Sad, but true - when the public realises that they can achieve anything they want with protesting, they start to protest just because they can, which gets out of control. Democracy never worked anyways.

>Implying you suffer more than the rest of Africa.

I sincerely didn't know that sticks can open fire.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/egypt/10249086/Egypt-troops-clear-Islamists-from-Cairo-mosque.html

Keep in mind, not all the protesters are from the Muslim Brotherhood, so get your facts straight when you're talking. Those 2k-3k people who died, was shot and burned. Who shot them? They shot/burned themselves right?

Guys, in islam it's a principle to bury a person once (s)he dies. Before they bury them (national rule, i think) a death reason must be given. The military didn't allow them to put "shot" as a reason. They had to either write down "Suicide" or just let them rot in the cities.
