CD-ROM/CD-Burner Drive will not open?

Well, i am installing Counterstrike Source, and i was asked to put Disc 2 in, and i did, and then, i let it install, then i was asked to put Disck 3 in...
when i went to open the drive, it will not open, and my Disc is still inside

i am finishing install with my other drive, but the one that is stuck, is the one that is a CD burner

Any suggestions on getting my CS:S Disc 2 out?

Yes, but the disc is still spinning inside, and when i stick a pin inside, it goes GAAGydiyfeiyFDIAYfdiAYDAyevYVDESPSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS( the noise ) and sucks the drive back in

First turn off the computer, then put the pin inside. You could also check inside if it's properly connected.

There is a small plastic cog wheel that is working the door, its very week and it often falls out of place, only thing to do:
1. take drive out(detach it from pc) and shake it, if u hear a noice,cog is broken
2. take it to servicer,to be replaced

U dont want o do that by yerself,plenty of important stuff can be damaged,trust me i work in pc repair shop, i see that stuff every day.

Yea, i might have to get a new drive, cause this oens a bit old.


About the problem: Well, idk, but i think the disc may have got kicked out of place when it was spinning or smth, and made it get stuck.

But when i powered it off ( to cause the drive to stop spinning ) it came out easily.
