Great that you guys considering and fully-fill the removal of inactivity administrations. Since it may cause problem if they are not up to date and such!

To those who have been fired in the past, and to those who might experience it in the future.

As humans we tend to overlook our own faults, and move responsibility away. Unfortunately current society fully supports this by training people not to make decisions and giving them opportunity to find other culprits as them selves.

If you get warned or fired it is vey easy to shoot in defense mode and find others who in your eyes performed worse and were not fired or reprimanded. You may question the ability of leaders to see all, especially if you believe they do not have the activirty required to see the errors you believe to have seen in others.
When you do this you over look one very important factor. What happened is addressed to you, and has no relation to what others did or do. Instead of looking at faults of any other and convincing yourself you were treated unfair, look in the mirror. Let the reasons given to warn or fire you sound in your head, and try to find acceptance of them. Then see if there is a way you can overcome these reasons, if you wish to work towards a return. Or accept them and play without having the extra burden of having to protect the  server.

We are aware that nobody that was fired has ever purposely tried to mess things up, though some got so embroiled in anger they did so after being fired.
Every player who was part of the team did so to help out the server, and has tried to do their very best in whatever way they believed to be good.
Someone getting fired because of behaviour there for is a failure of the leaders. Even if they did their best to keep someone within the lines of admin work they might fail, and it would never be a success to have to release someone from their duties.

However reasons vary. First of all apart from owners we can not expect our members to keep interest in the same game for ever. Players grow, their lives change and that comes with change in time spent on games in general. Thet is nothing unusual, and it is up to us to ensure enough new blood is coming in to replace the old.
Another thing is that most players are in an age where their character undegoes many changes. There may be times they suddenly wish to oppose authority and create havoc, even if they are aware it may cost them. If it costs them in our community, we always hope they learn something from it in real life. After all if you mess up here its not really a big thing, but if you mess up as much in real life it will haunt you for the rest of it.

The first step towards improvement is acceptance.

I remember the feelings I had last year on the issue.. (whoever remembers good, those who don't please don't revive it.. :x) When I was kicked straight for something.. However, I accepted the fact and I realized my mistake but I never turned against the community.. it was my fault back then getting kicked, and I worked my way back in, earning trust once again..

I am not sure if I will stay in team or be fired due to inactivity(Even though reasonably due to irl health status), however I believe every decision HQ takes, is for the better environment of the admin team, other than that I am curious to see the changes, even if I even see my self in those once again..

TL;DR Never give up on people or things you support, You will always need them sooner or later.

It'll be sad seeing some of the admins go. There's no question they all worked hard and devoted their personal time, their playing time to us and the only thing we, players, should be doing is saying thank you. Although I'm sure those changes will only bring good results. More active moderators/administrators equals better playing experience for everybody.

You have no knowledge on if and how often any admin has been reported. Maybe you filed one yourself, but that could classify as 'hardly'.
HQ does not out information about quantity or validity of any reports, except direct communication about the report you filed.

That people say they have reported or will report someone is usually not proof that they actually did.

I'm satisfied with this improvement, I remember the last admin reformation in 2008 or 2009. It improved the administration team, even though it was hard for some people to accept. In the end it's good to fresh up once in a while, I think Argonath needs it now - as a boost to get back 'on track'.

To all admins being removed from the administration team, my advice is to keep respect for yourself. In the past it's been proven that removed admins turn into 'dicks' - I've been one of these myself, untill you realise it's not even usefull to criticize current admins and take the shit out of everyone.

If removed, that's for a reason they will gladly tell you. Don't see it as being kicked but another chance to improve yourself on a HIGHER level. Being an administrator mostly give you the feeling that you're doing 'well', as you have the job already! But being removed should only be a motivation to get yourself on a HIGHER level.

I wish everyone good luck with the reformation and hope the hard working admins will stay in the team. As well for the possible future recruitment, everyone good luck - be yourself, don't play an act and don't suck up. If you do that and you got the qualities, you will be definately in!

Doggi has reported more than once with valid reasons. The fact he starts 'moaning' in this topic is a typical example that he shouldn't be an admin.
