And Doggi, don't feel offended, but you just sound like a Argonath player who just got 'abused' by admin. In my opinion, you should keep your behavior and attitude as you were still an admin.

Yeh. Admins are volunteers and have a life outside of Argonath too, we should remember that.

We respect the fact they have a life too but they need to keep in mind that when they applied, they accepted to follow few rules. One of them concern their activity.

I believe Jessica is hinting towards the fact that HQ should keep into consideration the timezones of those that they wish to accept, rather than demanding admins waking up early morning to perform their duties.

To make something clear, we are not forcing the staff team to go up in the morning to work on the server. We have no schedule of when the administration team must be online. We got a set amount of hours per week the Staff Members must do work, but how they distribute that time is entirely up to them.

Those who have timezones such as GMT -9 will most likely (depending on the individual) be online when the server time is, for example, 3am because the time in their country would be 18:00. That is what I meant regarding HQ taking into account the timezones of new moderators that they are considering of choosing. One simple method is that HQ can evaluate the times that certain players play. Once this can be taken into consideration, there will be a steady flow of admins online at a variety of times, which will reduce the risk of certain players taking advantage of no admins being online when they join at an early morning server time.

I do, however, understand what you are trying to say when you addressed the fact that admins are not responsible to perform their duties at specific times. Thus, if they change their mind about when they are willing to come online, it will result in them not being available in early server times anymore. Although, it is actually unlikely that it will happen.

Before this topic turns out as my messed up taco, I just want to say a few words :P

I was selected as an administrator a long time ago, I actually don't remember when. Anyways, I had waited a long for this experience and I must say it was pretty awesome. I made new friends and gained new experience, which was of course my main goals. As an administrator, I didn't like to hand out a lot of punishments, because I felt it was rather better to make people think about their actions rather to suspend them from the server and make them even angrier, then they all go taconanas. Back to my message, I've enjoyed every little second in the administration team, I knew I was going to be removed sooner or later due to my inactivity that went unnoticed, but it's completely my fault and I won't disagree at all with the decision. Our current managers and HQ are amazing people, I hope you all understand that and respect them, because they hand out a lot of tacos and help building this amazing taco server. Don't ever forget that we're an unique community and that we're a world of its own. A message to the HQ and my fellow comrades: Don't ever forget that you do a good job, and that you had a taco in the team. I thank you again for the opportunity you gave me and I hope the next ones will love taco like me!
