*A plethora of text*

Let me just say something about the Andromeda - Milky Way collision  For the absolute record this will not be for a VERY large duration of time not to mention the Nasa collision video itself that shows the collision plays out over billions of years it's actually widely accepted that Earth would not notice such a thing or that our sun will be gone before it happens it's a event on an massive scale; however, it is a noticeable phenomenon for those who will be on earth when it happens.

the thing is that there won't be a week that this will happen, in 3.75 billion years people will still die hoping to see it, everything in space is so massive our lives don't comprehend it..

A leaked report to the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) seen by the Mail on Sunday, has led some scientists to claim that the world is heading for a period of cooling that will not end until the middle of this century.

That is the basis of the article.

The point of this topic is to add transparency to the eluded topic that is Global Warming and if it is possible that we are actually not warming but cooling it should be considered.

However since you pulled the shovel one I must inform you my driveway is a circle that spans 300M to the end and at peak is 10M wide hence why we have a plow truck. The only good thing I can say about winter commute is no ships have to pass under the bridge so I never get delayed :D
Edit: For clarification I have an interconnected driveway that is shared with the neighbor and the street access and sidewalks need to be done for the entire stretch.

Which bridge the lift one for ships? I like how this topic is about global cooling and yet we are talking about bridges. But I can confirm the news agencies are liars because the temp is always lower where I live because they take airport temps I would tell you it's getting colder and colder but it's summer so lets continue this in 2 months. Lake Superior has been reported getting warmer but it's still cold the temp doesn't climax at more than 25C typically and usually cools to about 1C so saying it's a result of Global warming is a strange thing to say especially when you actually look at the data if we look at temperatures... (IN CELSIUS- Local Data for Duluth MN)

What can be best noticed is the dates listed the highs are typically older where as the record lows are actually more recent, this is the local evidence. Looking at the world you see the same thing yet water temps are seemingly rising but at the same time it rises it goes back to normal or in more strange cases lower than average.. Another thing about the data is the recent cold temps are reported in the summers which could be concerning, I imagine more change to come and as for the polar icecaps it appears as if the northern hemisphere is growing.

zomg it's getting colder in winter, how is that even possible!

You do realize that you can't have same weather every year? Sometimes the summer is rainy, sometimes there is less snow that it's supposed to be

I understand the weather can not be the same every year which is why I tried to prove and disprove as much as I could. And 2011-2012 Winter there was barely under 12" of snow and in 2012-2013 there was more snowfall then average about 60-80 Inches

There has been more and more snow in the UK though as the years go by, maybe this year, well 2014 more like, BBC News will be used to it, and not act as if the world is going to end.

My CPU hopes it happens.

On a side-note: our effect on the change of weather in the past century has been minimal, probably nothing that would not have happened had we not polluted. I hope it gets colder, maybe I'll actually get to see REAL snow.
