Things like this the world (Planet) as seen come and go throughout its life. (very long time) This only seem massive to some of the world because noone has ever seen anything like this before, but the real question is; has the planet ever seen anything like this before? My guess is yes. The Ice Ages where caused by what is going on in some places. Is this problem really man made? I dont think so, I think its a cycle that the planet goes through. Also when the ice caps melt it is not the Ice glacior that is going to cause global flooding. The only thing that we really dont want to melt is the Ice shelf itself (land ice) Test it with a cup of water and once ice cube that floats in the water, Once it melts water does not rise. If you place 4-6 ice cubes in the cup so it stacks up and looks like land ice. Once they melt the water rises. I personally think its just a cycle the planet is going through. But hey Iv being wrong once before (In maths) :)

It indeed is part of the Earth's natural cycle and yes, the temperature has changed on the planet many times. But our actions are speeding up this process. And you should know that global warming is not just flooding, but the catastrophes of the climate which will strike/strike the Earth.

one word:
fuck El Gore..

Man, do u really think that his movie can change the world?
its hardly possible in movies man.

And IF there come cars with better exhausts etc.
Most people cant pay it, and have to stay driving in their "old" car untill that one is completely worn down you know?
most people cant just change cars..

man, he has enough money to do such things, but 99% of the other people in the world can't,

El Gore? Dream on

Lol Mr.Me Plus, If the world is changing faster than it should be, That means it might already be too late to stop the process. You cannot stop nature from doing what it does, and if you manage to do so it could end in a dramatic consequence.

i think that it is a BIG problem.
however, the problem i have with politicians is that, generally, they just dont care about it. there are exceptions i.e. al gore etc but overall it is just another thing that they can comment on and try and get support and get elected.
what are G8 REALLY doing about global warming anyway?

(i have to say, the 9th richest country must be pissed hehe)

This is a really discusting thing ... World is sooo fu**ed up, it's just so sad. All the animals being killed per day, all the forest being burned/cutted per day. I really love animals, now people are getting it all back, yes, we have shi**ed our planet.

Indeed some have taken the planet for granted. But if our forefathers have not of done so, where would we be today? What would of become of the planet we know today?

It's kinda sad to think that if the end comes then there will be no information that there excisted humankind. Everything what we've done or proved will be gone one day.  :hit:
