Considering 400€ Isn't alot, It'd be something I'd look into doing, yes, As I discussed with managers already.

Many people want RS4 back, You aswell as many other community admins, and some members like yourself, don't give a single crap.
Correct, Many of us did complain about the delay in RS5's release, the problem is the fact that MOST features were kept secret, we were waiting to see what the server was like, we played it, and we dislike it, there only has and ever will be ONE rs4, and they've taken that away.

A single SAMP server yes, but remember we are running more than one single server, in fact our current box could hold up to 10 SAMP servers with the old player count.. where as most SAMP hosting companies largely overbook their servers. Besides the amount is one time, not continuous.

I will not lie, I'm currently in fully agreement with you, but that doesn't stop me from playing and experiencing the whole mode before I judge. The developers here have released several guidance in order for us to understand the main principles of the mode. Our lack of reading is the main source to our stupidity and lack of knowledge. Trying something as complicated as this, is a challenge to those who're used with simple technology and little efforts put into the game. I, myself, find RS5 more of a challenge to my roleplay quality and new possibilites to improve weak sides. RS5 will bloom new fresh ideas and contribute to our quality.

A simple suggestion for you, and the rest of the people here, give it a few weeks. You won't die... I think.

I completely see where you're coming from Gandalf, I have been in similar shoes to you once before, On a smaller scale, but as a previous community owner, I can almost guarantee you think the same and agree with me when I say that your Community comes first over money and over the 'wanting to keep up with the new SAMP Technology' feeling.

If the community wants RS4, Your job, as the owner is to deliver it to the best of his capabilities, I've said to I think it was Kojak but i'm unsure, if needed, I or many other members would be happy to run the server under the Argonath name, the thing is, I know you have the space to do so.

I see your point of view, and your argument against it is completely understood, but i just feel this is revolving around what the NEWER generation of Argonath want, Instead of what the veterans want.

Although this is rambling on slightly, I just want to point out, Most people wanting RS4 back are veterans, and we've done ALOT to keep the community active, although we may get punishments for breaking the rules, we've stayed loyal to your server, we've helped with money and we've put up with the bad parts aswell, in return how about you consider giving us the server we got so used to back?

So you really want RS4? Here's a solution.

To all those who want RS4 back, here is your challenge.
If you REALLY want to bring it back, I will make a deal.

Make donations stating 'I want RS4' and as soon as this reaches Eur 400, I will open a RS4 server, however there will be NO ASSETS and NO ACCOU?NTS. Fro mthe current admin team there will be a RS4 team formed, and while the player count stays above 200 per day (that means in 24 hours, not needing to have 200 players online at the same time) it will remain up.

Now either put up or shut up.
