Not to sound like a bastard here, but the chance to improve was present during the BETA instead people opted to not play which leaves scripters still patching bugs that were present then (property stuff for example).  It's kind of always been like this, staff members being able to help test out future updates and such.

Then you should start recruiting players which can help the other scripters in fixing bugs and developing more things which can make the game more interesting. Waiting staff members to deal with scripting related things takes time and it's kinda frustrating because it has been always like that, if you're a community then start working together because that's how you should act.

Giving people the opportunity to assist in adding content that is currently being delayed by developers won't hurt anyone. They still don't have access to anything but their compiler.

Who says they can't become scripters? You think I was just sitting in-game and got a PM from Gimli saying "Hey wanna script for us". No. I went to Gandalf and Gimli and let them know I was interested in helping out. If they wanna help there is a proper channel to get there.
