GTA returning to Vice City in 2018?

That would be great. Only two GTA games took place in Vice City. Time for Vice City to come back imo.

Same city, new graphics and new story/missions. There's nothing more needed for Rockstar to make to satisfy their fans.

I don't mind an expansion on the city - the current map could be the centre and they could introduce something into their storyline telling us how over the last 30 years a major industrial boom took place.

I think people are biting on to a hint that Rockstar's looking at some retro themes. This probably arose out of an interview with one of their developers. It's a long shot but I hope they consider it at least. They will likely want a larger map but, if it is to be split up into islands (like GTA IV perhaps) then this could be a possibility.

R* Games said long ago that they would not return to the GTA III universe.

Because GTA IV and GTA V are so not set in III universe maps.. Seriously..

Ever tried GTA Vice City RAGE mod for GTA IV? That's pretty much what you want. It has a multiplayer too, nobody plays it though, sadly.

Because exactly what they said in my previous post. They won't ever be returning to that universe again. "GTA San Andreas 2" would be a sequel to a game from that universe by definition of its own name. That is never going to happen.
