Warning: Properties do get sold due to not entering them!!!

Something that should have been done by the staff team. Yes, this thing is back! I am possibly from the few that didn't know, I didn't get to lose anything though. Still, be warned people. Not entering your property for three months will cause it to be sold.

Selling of inactive properties has been something of common knowledge for years now, those that have played since RS3/RS4 should already know this.

I just had a long talk, while being angry about this... I am just gonna dump this, and hopefully do not comment again. Many members of the Administration, including Managers, said many times in the fact that no properties will be sold due to inactivity, and many moaned about it, because it is wrong. Inactivity should cause properties to be sold. To conclude what I was told. I was told that those were not official statements, I find that wrong, but let's ignore that. This is a message to help every other guy who didn't notice, because I wasn't the only one. This "program" is back inaction, and I was told that it has been like that for atleast a month already... Will the power given to me by myself, I declare this an official Announcement, watch your properties folks.

Some HQ members actually said that properties won't be sold for inactivity, as we have plenty of properties on the server. However it was changed back without any notice (apart from the rules update).

EDIT:

The automated system of property removal due to the extended inactivity is suspended so it is no longer needed to return within three months to avoid the removal of your goods.

May I make myself clear on the following:

We do not sell houses on request.
It does not matter how long the person was inactive, or how much you like/want his house.

No clue why he said the three month inactivity for properties rule was suspended, back then we couldn't even sell them since the command was disabled.  Now that we have it back we're cleaning out inactive properties so those that want them can have them and put them to good use.

This is why you should enter your property on a regular basis to avoid it being sold.  Sure we could have let everyone know and we kind of did when the rules were updated to include the property part as that is when I started selling off inactive properties en masse.  The property part in the rules will be updated so it's more clear.

I couldn't help but notice that you sold Marques HQ and Mario Soprano bought it right after. I don't know anything about this so don't mind me, just making assumptions.

Well no one was around when it was sold as I had just left Gvardia and flew around un-owning a few San Fierro properties.  People were tracking my area as they knew I was out hunting down inactive properties that's probably why he was so quick to snap it up.

Well, the point is ... that it was made clear by many people that no properties will be sold due to inactivity and I was told that properties began being sold due to that atleast a month ago... People should not lose anything because they weren't properly told about it, anyway. Getting off topic here. I'd like this topic to keep on getting somewhat bumped though, so that people get to see it.

Told or not (which you were in the rules update), can't have inactive properties sit with players who barely even play or use them.  If that were the case nearly all the good properties wouldn't have their current owners right about now instead they'd be sitting with players who haven't joined for months or even a year or more.  Like I had said before the majority only got sold few days ago month ago we were barely touching any.

Properties have no use at the moment, don't you think you should've started unowning inactive ones after the new scripts ?
