Well... so that you are using it? Even if it will after all in many cases, simply be you entering the property every now and then...
I have to admit that this system is more proper than in rs4... Where you simply had to be active in game.

Why own a property if you don't use it/enter it?
The property system was created with an automated system to sell inactive properties which didn't work as it should.
Only recently has an override command for HQ members to manually sell properties and they do so under their own discretion.

Highly sought after properties that are inactive will be sold without a second guess, al other inactive properties will also be sold as the HQ member feels necessary.
If you purchase a property and do not enter it, we won't be able to see if the property is active or inactive as it won't have any entry date logged therefore you may lose your property.

It's not that difficult to enter the property once a week or so when you're in-game more than once a week.

Sure but in the end the property scripts dont work and you cant roleplay up cash to buy them.

I do use it to RP in it now and then, but it's quite rare...

There is no more point to sell automaticly a house after 3 months.
Properties were automaticly sold on RS4.1 because we were limited in number of houses that was possible to be scripted.

In RS5, we can have an unlimited number of houses and there is one for everyone.
SF and LV are full of unowned houses.

First of all we must have proper education or concept for what is needed an property. Yes in RS4 we had store load options but houses or businesses are meant to roleplay inside. Now for my opinion (taking a part headquarters of well-known factions) the "3 months" rule must be reduced. So imagine if we have business profit script: the players which have some certain businesses would join in game once a month just to keep the validation of their property, which is wrong. I remember in RS4 when ammunations were running out of stock for weeks or months because owners never paid attention. Better would be the new emancipation of players with this ideology that "the properties are for Roleplay not to print money" and the business scrip will be implanted more easily, and you must know that is a matter of priorities.

It is, since HQ decided to sell inactive owner's properties and mostly of them are  Businesses, So if there would be profit script it would make them enter the property automatically.

How would an Ammunation or a Hotel or a 24/7 ... Make you enter it more frequently than you already do ... if it had profit?

The majority of the properties sold were houses not businesses.
