Bring back combat.

Well, as the tittle says, bring back combat. I don't use it also i don't even like that weapon, but I think that many people who likes to use combat will just /q because of it and we need activity. Removing combat won't stop DM. Just bring it back, not for me, but for many users of it.

Combat just allows people to Kill you instantly.. its not a realistic gun at all, just use normal or sawn off shotgun. but if Combat shotgun was to ever return i would say Decrease it's damage per bullet if possible.. Combat is the main reason newbs Shoot to kill when your typing, but now there is only deagle so they can only get like 1-2 bullets out.. with combat you would be dead before you can press esc to cancel yyour typing.. i witness'd this stupid move about 100 thousand times.. if people want to quit because of a weapon they can go live on a DM server.

The part of players leaving because of combat makes no sense,although I support the idea itself banning Combat will never stop the DM,there are still other powerful guns if used right. My own opinion that banning Combat is pointless, if you want to stop DM you guys will find other ways indeed.

If you are talking about a gun being realistic, I suppose it isn't realistic when you need 7 shots to kill a player.

Bullet proof vests (Armour) with deagle it takes 5 bullets which is rather realistic, people can roleplay being hurt after 2-3 bullets if they rp it, but combat is just silly, plus with deagle a fight will last longer than 10 seconds,

Combat is a vagina cannon :| not everyone likes it and i think it should not come back because is it cool to come be a shootout where everyone is using combat because its the most powerful shotgun......... i mean its annoying

Removing combat for DM fests is not even a reason they could've stopped DM in other different ways than banning it

At one point I didn't understand why it got removed, but I like the weapon diversification now (people actually using lower grade guns) and the fact that rich people don't have as much advantage as before (although yes I supposse that doesn't make sense). Also it's fun seeing people struggling to kill anyone without it :P So I'm for no.

damage is non-debatable because all depends on bleeding rate and organ hits.....watch some combat videos from afganistan or something, I've seen a talib fighter getting hit up close 5 times with M4A1, shattering his testicles as well apparently, yet he was able to return fire and attack with melee afterwards.... It's the weapon itself, I mean I'm a sawn-off user, if argonath banned sawn-off i'd lose interest of playing it, i'd play without get into shootouts. It makes no sense if you're a good shooter, you will not be killed ONLY because of whoever is against you uses a combat. DM won't decrease only because there is no combat understand that. Maybe do it like a 5 round ammo instead of 7 but don't remove it..  If they quit argonath will be death in a couple of months. Do you want it? I don't. Also you s hould be careful while typing or trying to rp with a ''newb''. It happened to me when I was talking with Salvo Sullivan once, he just shooted @ me while I was typing and guess what, i killed him, he took all of my armour out, but i did it. It's not about the weapon. DM won't stop only because of combat getting banned. Also if you are talking about a weapon being realistic check this out: there are no headshots, no-one in real life runs while shooting to his right like I do while shooting with a sawn-off or uzi.
If you want to avoid shootouts, play sims instead of samp.

It does, it's like if you work in something that you're used to and in a minute someone just tell you to do something that you've never did in your life.

I don't understand, you're talking about a weapon being realistic and you want a 1v1 that will last + than 10 secs? IRL if you get shooted in your head you're DEATH. So that's not a valid argment.

Dude, it's a weapon like any other. If you got no skills you'll not win, even if you're using a combat against a 9mm.

It's not about weapon diversification, if someone likes to use another weapon than combat then USE IT even if his target is using a combat.




I don't even use it/like it, but it will just make players /q from argonath.
