Free Roam Events

Free roam events must be forbidden. Those events are very useless in a roleplay server that not only are preventing the role-play but are creating an mindset to certain players that join in server asking for similar events. We must make the difference of Roleplay server and stunt server. Even that our server is Light Roleplay doesn't mean is Free Roam server.

What to do to?
Invest your time and your funds on heavy Role-Play events where all the individuals or entities of server can be involved. Cops, Criminals, Medics, Fireman's, Citizens and staff members.

Ideas? You have more ideas than me, im just adding one that used to be from RS4 it's not originaly mine but must be organized each two days even daily.

Criminals vs Cops.
Criminals must transport an amount of cocaine from bayside to ocean docks. Cops must stop the criminals in all the ways. Here will be involved medics in case of injuries or fireman's in case of massive damages. If criminals succeed they win the reward of >insert the amount here<. In case that Cops will finish their duty they will take the amount. How to share the reward? To the leaders of the groups.

You think that criminals will outnumber cops?
We know very well that similar events will bring back SAPD at his best, their current professionalism in addition with few volunteers more or less will balance the gap, so those events will have an message and could bring the interest for more similar activities.

Benefits?
Collaborations, Communications, Role-Play, Emotions, objectives etc.
Disadvantages?
Any possible conflict or any individual stepping over the rules. (Which will be the duty of staff members to take care)

Leading heavy roleplay has been my duty from years now keeping my Family happy and interested everyday and every moment, don't think that the activity that we are maintaining comes out of nowhere, but like me there are tens of other leaders. Let's use their talent and their skills to lead something server-wide. We can forgot about our personal conflicts for two hours to host those events and to finish the target successful. Those kind of events will return the other leaders which are inactive or are forced to go away from server even now lately, the leaders will bring their followers etc.
With new systems cops are feeling in disadvantage, they've got nothing to do since the interaction system must be criminal activity reports or from constant usage of MCD which sometimes they might forget to use and they will simply leave. Let's give to those entities some reasons to stay active or to return active.

Destruction Derby? Who will cheat more will win. Plane surfing? Go to stunt server for the love of the GOD.

Add your ideas for more roleplay events, i will over-think it and probably will add any new idea.

I'm thinking for some heists typical format of "Steal the flag". Any building protected from cops and criminals must break the entries to steal any "valuable object". Heavy weapons for criminals must be forbidden only 9mm might be used (for Playa this one) after stealing the "valuable object" they must send it somewhere, cops must stop the criminals.

Sounds like an excuse to load empty on to each other, we've got Paruni for that.

I'd like to see events like poker/ gambling tournaments, Triathlons and Marathons as Timon said.
Just items that are open for a bigger group of audience but still are fun and calm on the server.

the problem with Cops V Criminals is.. this isnt a cop n robbers server, and also mostly everyone turns them into Deathmatching events..

As much as I'd love to see poker implemented, it's a game about facial expressions and luck. You won't be able to see if someone's telling or bluffing just by looking at a screen.

Nope, the idea isn't to execute everyone, but to roleplay with everyone.

the problem with Cops V Criminals is.. this isnt a cop n robbers server, and also mostly everyone turns them into Deathmatching events..

We must define the DM in this case, we have an event and "objectives" so everyone is informed on what's going on realise the concept of deathmatch and mission. As brian said if we would like to DM we simply go to Paruni. Having RP interactions with Cops should not be only trafic stop routine, we must have situations to negotiate or to keep them as hostages or they to arrest the criminals and make an entire bus of criminals for jail.

I agree with that RP event, btw DD isn't a bad event since it happens IRL. There are many DD events.

The main topic is for Events, my idea was to change the ideology and to add more effort on massive roleplay events. Let's not enter in details to find out the origine of the "blastings".
