AIL: The Future

Yesterday we announced AIL for websites, today we announce the future plans for AIL. Using a craftable micro controller, you can program AIL scripts for businesses, houses, vehicles, factories, and general use. 

This is as close as we can get to players being able to script in-game. The possibility becomes simply endless, think of being able to get a text message anytime someone enters your property. Being able to remotely shut off your vehicle, remotely lock and unlock it.

Want a career as a programmer or inventor in-game? You can sell micro-controller scripts, as they won't be open source like websites. This means, you can actually create a vehicle control micro-controller and sell copies of it.

What about creating a vehicle control micro-controller that can open other vehicles of players?  A hack of sorts, be a neat way to allow locked cars to be stolen.

Wasn't the point of Argonath and all of SAMP to escape from reality?
Making it too much real life like,isn't very inviting..

I really enjoyed the 1998 style of gameplay that argonath was offering,now things are getting just too damn complicated.
If i really wanted to become a scripter i would have gone to computer engineering and math college.

What's next? making  in-game youtube so players can become youtubers and get money from subscribers?

So you would rather be stuck in a out dated era doing outdated thing's?  Yeah ok.
This is all optional, don't want to make use of it then don't.


If hacking is permitted then there is room for loads of different options you could do come to think of it depending on what you were to include function wise.  Few crazy ideas come to mind - Accessing Law Enforcement radio and other CB Channels if possible as-well as maybe finally being able to hack those ATM's?

There is nothing wrong with adding content into the game, this could benefit everyone. I might actually make a business in game that scripts stuff for people to buy because I find it interesting to do. I wouldn't say it's getting too realistic, I would just say it's getting more content, not everyone will like it, but people will. We have to move forward as a server and as a community.

Im not saying that there is something wrong with making the server have more to offer far from it,I just think that its just overcomplicated. I have worked on C++(i was good at it) in highschool and it was kinda going on my nervs and not interesting one bit. All of those commands just made my day shitty and i didnt enjoy it one bit. I did it because i had to for a good grade.And i play SAMP to get away from that obligation(all of schools obligations),to find myself back in that spot where i can get money from making a program or w.e.Id rather make money from something more simple like drug dealing or selling properties.
As of my seeing of the future regarding this new feature,it will be the main money making machine.And we will have Steve Jobs,Bill Gates,Paul Allens running around the server.

But its not my call,I'll get use to it,who knows i might even get some coin of it.

The only way to make money from this is from other people buying it so it can't be the main money machine because if everyone did it, then there would be no one buying. You don't have to use this to make money at all... there will be other ways to make money.

From my point of view this is a great addiction, specially the hacking features that rusty mentioned, just sad that I don't have the mind set to sit down and learn how to do it.

Im all for them updates mane they really look cool and all,but my incompetence and lack of concentration for learning scripting is too damn high.
