A little info from Trane and we are able to search once again.  :cowboy:
Sadly with the layout of the search bar it wasn't ideal to be placed on the sidebar as you weren't able to see what you were typing in so the top is the next best position.

The only con is that you can't search private boards because it works with google cache, which means it only saves what a guest can see. At least it functions and can be used as a temporary solution until the default smf engine is re-enabled, if it will ever be.

You could say that.
However it's modified to search only on www.argonathrpg.eu and www.argonathrpg.com, so it saves you time instead of opening a new window and having to place special para-meters on Google. It as-well uses an overlay design so it is more user-friend and you can simply close the search results and continue with what you were doing.

In the right top of the google popup you can sort by date if that is what you mean.
