Guys, why exactly are you saying all this? It's an experiment, you can rant about how good smartphones are all you want, I won't care -_-.
It is my choice, and if I'll be comfortable without a smartphone, I will permanently get rid of it.

It's a nice experiment there, good luck with it.
I personally am pretty dependant on a smartphone. Though I did an experiment of being 2 weeks without Facebook or Messenger.

You got it wrong lol, what most of us meant (at least me) that smartphones are not crappy as you said, it depends on the person how he's using that piece of electronics. Didn't mean to go all against the experiment.  :lol:

There are some people who need to have smartphones, as they receive important emails and need to be able to reply at any time. I, on the other hand, have no need for that.

And this is related to this topic... how? How exactly is my cheap smartphone (which still runs well and flawlessly) is related to me deciding to ditch my smartphone altogether? How is it any different than a Samsung S7 in this aspect? You've just displayed ten kinds of stupid by your ignorance.

I'll start the same experiment tomorrow 00:00. May I include some of your results in our investigation about social media? I won't be able to use social media, forums and games for a week. (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Netflix etc.)

Nope. I'm using the smartphone as a tablet rather than a phone. In other words, it serves the purpose of watching movies on my couch. I don't bring it with me.
