You still fail to provide valid points beside the price: everything else you've mentioned just doesn't cut it. Voice recognition might be useless to the normal person, but that doesn't make Vista bad.

I have to say, the general universal incompatability with many things would put me off. Though Hayden makes a valid point that the tweaking would fix many bugs, the fact that such tweaking is required is generally not acceptable. XP ships perfectly usable, and any tweaking you do is a bonus, not a necessity.

I'm sorry, but I'm paying more for XP than I would for Vista with this PC, so I'm thinking that I'm pretty sure on this.

I hate anything that slows my PC down, i like to do everything at lightspeed (look at me drive in SA:MP  :banana: )

both Vista and XP has its up and downs.. None is perfect..

If you hate (for some reason.. cant understand how you can hate a os that much) vista, then dont buy it.

umm.. no, there is no such thing as a game only using DX10, until June of this year all games have to be usable with DX9 (Windows XP will not be sold after June 1, 2008) Only Vista can use DX10

DON'T BE THIS STUPID!!! Or you will have lots of drivers problems that you will only be able to solve if you are an expert.

I only say this because 5 guys with a computer like mine add me on msn to ask me how to solve their problem with drivers.
Lucky for them, the LG E500 comes with a reboot DVD that resets your pc to factory default.

This reminds me, back on other forums, there were two boys, they were both fanboys of Xbox 360 - the other, PS3.

I got it on this PC, and guess what.
No problems after tinkering with compatibility with ANY of my Programs.
So, you need to like, go somewhere else with the 'Vista isnt compatible with anything' and the 'Vista sucks, XP all the way'
Im guessing you need to change your mindstate from

to
"XP all the way, cause i cant sit down and learn how vista works, and i am very lazy, so thats why vista sucks and XP pawns"
