Back then used to be dull tbh, there is a big difference between:
"Sorry, things are different in LSRP"
"Man I got fucked in LSRP for the same thing the other day"
and:
"OMG MAN JOIN LSRP IS GREAT HURR DURR MUCH PLAY IP:IPP:IPIP:IIPP"

on LSRP they wouldn't do a topic named "Can we stop using 'on ArgonathRPG'".

There's a difference between "copying" LSRP and realistic shit that should be added, I'm pretty sure LSRP doesnt have copyrights over their own in-game commands/style of roleplay.  LSRP isn't really "heavy rp", alot of trolls live there and get away with it, I don't think we have here.  LSRP isn't the realistic roleplay.

There are more then 600 roleplay servers in the whole SA:MP community and as soon as we suggest something that will be more RPish some butthurt people start mentioning how we're copying LSRP and how we're not..Let me tell you this... You may go and play in there as much as you want, but don't bring your shitty opinions on how we're copying something or no. How do you think they made their community? About time this topic was made.

Just because something is "more RPish", that does not mean it automatically brings us in Elesarpee's direction. But fact is many players request more "realistic" features for Argonath because they want our environment to become like Elesarpee's (and/or the hundreds of other generic RP servers out there), whether they like / admit it or not. Many of these care about their own roleplay experience more than how the server will affect all players. (i.e. will it be fair to all, including new players? will it remain simple and easy to understand?)

And then when their ideas are denied, they point the finger at Argonath and accuse us of not wanting change. Their failure is that the only definition of progress for them is moving in the direction of Elesarpee, to become just like everyone else instead of being free to decide our own path. The thing is, it's not.

What these people do not understand is that adding scripts and features does not add or make you "more RP." It is up to your creativity, imagination, maturity, and professionalism if the standard of RP raises or not. Just so happens that many are selfish and focus more on their own e-penis than on making things fun for everyone.

Well, there's nothing wrong with adding more stuff into the server which makes the server better, LSRP is not involved in anyway, you are comparing a server with 50 players daily and a give or take 300 to 500 player daily server. I wouldn't like for Argonath to change to LSRP or similar to it, but I don't think suggesting something new to the server is wrong.
