No it is not the religion that creates radical islamists. It is how specific groups of a religion sees the coran and twists it into taking action against people who do not follow their beliefs.

Point is people defend Islamism with the whole "not religion's fault", when it's exactly religion that pushes the radical islamists to these actions. A normal muslim knows he believes in one of many religions and that he may or may not be right. An islamist is a muslim who despises other religions and believes Islam should be the world's only religion and the non-believers must be eliminated or enslaved.

It's not the religion that pushes these radical pigs towards their horrible actions, it's their corrupted mindset.
