Gandalf, you have to realize that you can not demand the respect of players for your recent work. Players will respect you if you make yourself earned to it. You seem to put greed above need here and you do not appreciate those who work so hard for you. You are starting to lose respect by players. Furthermore, the players see a big loop in the whole HQ and they are pointing it out to you right now. How attractive is it for the community when you talk to Teddy like he is a dog? Teddy has every right to reply the way he does when someone is showing such a disrespect as you are doing.
I am not biased as I am personally not the biggest fan of Teddy. I have had my agreements and disagreements with Teddy so do not misunderstand me. I hardly speak with Teddy. However, from my point of view as a player, I can see that Teddy has made a lot of changes for the good of this community, while he is trying to walk us onto different paths, you always come in and steer the ship into a different direction which the players hates. This is just pure dictatorship from you. I do think you know better than this. You do not play daily on Argonath, the players does. And regardless if this was a real life RP server or just an RPG, then you'd do your thing regardless as none can say shit against you IG. So it would not affect you.
To me, it seems like you are deliberately steering this ship towards the biggest iceberg to sink it so you don't have to confront players about not being motivated to continue Argonath.
