@Gandalf How about you grow up and realise that this is 2016 and your vision is unrealistic? How about you come ingame and see how much RP "Blips Bring In". New players interested in RP get thrown off by it and leave, the remaining ones are trolls/Hackers. Now this Territory Shit? Come on you want it to get rid of some of the Criminal/Cop server RP. How does this help? By encouraging DM to take over a turf? This ain't a DM server in real life, if you're new to a city, you have no idea who owns what, if you a gangbanger?  Actually, I can't see how this will bring up DM in any way. This way groups interact with bizz owners in their turfs, whenever someone wants to take over a turf his group goes there and interacts with the owners, persuades them into switching their bizz protector. Much like how The Godfather(the game) works with protection. I think this idea is great. Kudos, Teddy & Crew!

Im afraid it already has no purpose, since nobody will roleplay it properly unless there are rules added as well. 6 of us tried to extort a single guy last night and he just acted like a superman through the whole roleplay and called us pussies in /em. At the end, it turned out he very much wasn't superman and instead of giving a couple of bucks, got beaten to death.

I don't think this will promote TDM, any more than it already exists, I think it gives the impression of TDM. Think of a new player who joins and this is what they see. First impressions are everything.

So I have to force people to give me a share of their business profits? That's quite impossible to happen when people would rather shoot themselves than cough up a few hundred dollars. What you'll see is groups buying as many as businesses as possible to color the map and business owners being pussies about it.

Improve the system by making it an attack/defend script where groups have to fight others to own their territory, a claimed territory cannot be attacked once again for like 3 days or some shit. Groups can fight along their friends to minimize losses as well, a specific amount of players have to be online from both groups to be able to attack a territory.

You won't have RP wars with gang rap and spraying logos on the walls and other ghetto shit like that, turf wars happen by shootouts, this is how they happen IRL, this is how they happen on "srs rp servers" that everyone strives so much to become, and this is how they should happen here.
