Gandalf, you have to realize that you can not demand the respect of players for your recent work. Players will respect you if you make yourself earned to it. You seem to put greed above need here and you do not appreciate those who work so hard for you. You are starting to lose respect by players. Furthermore, the players see a big loop in the whole HQ and they are pointing it out to you right now. How attractive is it for the community when you talk to Teddy like he is a dog? Teddy has every right to reply the way he does when someone is showing such a disrespect as you are doing.

I am not biased as I am personally not the biggest fan of Teddy. I have had my agreements and disagreements with Teddy so do not misunderstand me. I hardly speak with Teddy. However, from my point of view as a player, I can see that Teddy has made a lot of changes for the good of this community, while he is trying to walk us onto different paths, you always come in and steer the ship into a different direction which the players hates. This is just pure dictatorship from you. I do think you know better than this. You do not play daily on Argonath, the players does. And regardless if this was a real life RP server or just an RPG, then you'd do your thing regardless as none can say shit against you IG. So it would not affect you.

To me, it seems like you are deliberately steering this ship towards the biggest iceberg to sink it so you don't have to confront players about not being motivated to continue Argonath.

YTeddy has been making references to me being in the way of policies for years, where as I have never stood against any of the changes that were made, even if I was sure they were leading to a drop in players. I trusted Devin and Teddy to see if things were not going right and reversing when needed. Instead whenever things get tought they resign and become inactive, now that the player count is getting up due to the new managers in HQ suddenly Teddy comes back and tries to stir thing up again.
Unfortunately Teddy never earned his position in HQ, he snuck in due to his knowledge of the hardware and scripts.

As for respect, I respect all players with a positive attitude, and am not afraid to throw those out who should have been outed years ago but who some in HQ are afraid to handle.
If that means SAMP will close, so be it. Argonath is more than one server and losing one server does not lose the community.

Now let me say that I also have a lot of respect for Teddy and his work. He is available at hours a normal person is asleep and has made more progress in one year than those before him in five. What I do not respect is his way to be bossy and trying to profiule himself as the guy who did everything I lacked.

RS5 as Teddy has re-made was based on MY ideas, and most of the policy changes were instigsated by me, even if Teddy fails to see that.
Not I put in a tiopic about RS5.3 that I would like to dee the gang territory system in working as I hav desinged it, and Teddy switches the same day to a system that has not been tested, not been evaluated for its purpose and make pklayers revolt.

Why do you blame me? Teddy is the one who decided to put it on , not me. Teddy is the one who in stead of testing and redesigning it first  put it on live server. Now he hopes that when he redesigns it he can take credit for something that I fucked up, while in reality he made the fuckup.

RS5.2 is also made by PLAYER ideas. Your territory script has some flaws in it. No gang fights over a property or turf in Argonath. They fight over what the member of the other gang did, or fight over control of a weed field. Why force losing? Didn't groups lose enough in the reset? Didn't we, as a community and the SA-MP players, lose enough in the reset? You had something in mind, it's not what will happen with the current community's mindset.

So I have to force people to give me a share of their business profits? That's quite impossible to happen when people would rather shoot themselves than cough up a few hundred dollars. What you'll see is groups buying as many as businesses as possible to color the map and business owners being pussies about it.

This is what is happening.


The system was tested, and the whole team of testers was against it, and it was not released. The fuckup happened, let's reverse then? I'm sure most, if not all, sides will be happy.

You're living in constant denial. Do you really think that Teddy would "love" to script this gang war script for you? As far as it goes it looks like he kind of hates it to be honest. So does the players. You're literally standing here, blaming Teddy. You're reversing ideas that he has made in order head towards a more RP oriented community. As far as it goes, it does not look like you want that. What you want is the ability to use /me and /em but have a gang war system where different factions fight for turfs and areas. This doesn't promote RP. It promotes another reason to kill someone if they drive an inch into your territory. You do not think about those kind of negative effects, all you seem to care about is that it looks fancy for your eyes. It doesn't look like you know what the heck you're doing. At least when it comes to leading a roleplay server.
