VCMP Needs Quality Roleplay groups which do not DM and /away.  Only Gonzales can save us now smh

Well, the 2017's best roleplay group has seen its third year.
I have a few announcements to make.

Firstly, the main topic has been completely revamped for readability.

Secondly, I'd like to talk about the current situation in Gonzales.
You might have read the introduction, and seen the added story.

Yes, I'd like to confirm that SamirMahm is completely out of our reach from today. There has been a conflict of interest, with Samir standing his grounds on making Gonzales a "fun environment", but I wanted to lead an organization that doesn't ask questions every time I order it to do something - for now.
We have suffered big losses in terms of manpower, with me now being the only known Gonzales member.

The start of 2020 did not go well for Gonzales, but we have struggled with so much problems that it isn't even a surprise to everyone anymore.

After around 3 years of Gonzales, I regret to announce that we have to disband the group.

Due to dwindling player numbers, and even with attempts made by Hugo and I to revive the group, it still languished slowly.

Even after being recognized and awarded, it remained a sideline for most of its lifetime on the server.
I admit that I am completely responsible for most of the bad things that have happened to the group, leading to its closure today.

Now, I think it is best to give my members freedom instead of forcing them to play under Gonzales in an attempt to revive it. It has been a great journey, and I feel bad having to end it like this, but for the better of my members, I had to.
