About the road to downtown

Hello everybody. This topic was created on my behalf because of the increasing number of accidents on this section of the road, few of them were fatal, as criminals always consider their direction of traffic to be correct, while not following the rules of the road. I beg the police to pay attention to these situations

I want to clarify the problem of traffic rules on this part in Downtown (although they are very obvious).

As you can see on this section of the road, there is currently a multi-lane road with a central dividing line. In this section, you can move in one direction, without crossing the counter traffic participants.

Both these roads are two ways, you can see that as they are divided by two yellow lines, like most of the vice city roads. I have seen police officers who don't realise that and pull people over.

If you take some time to look in every other corner of the city you'll find that the roads make no sense, another example is prawn island. This can lead to confusion since apparently 90% of the players don't know transit rules and that the singleplayer game also ignore common sense when it's about driving paths.

Honestly I always obeyed single player AI driving paths, so the paths suggested by Mortx should be the correct ones, even if they're illogical :hang:

Afaik, the left lane(the city hall one) is for the vehicles moving from DT Ammu - Little Haiti and the other lane(Bikers bar one) is for Little Haiti-Dirt Track.

Cops often get confused with this too.

This is incorrect, these roads in miami have three lanes and they work like that in the game as one way, however, like the rest of the game's road texture mismatch common sense.

In short, you can go both ways in those roads, you can never cross the line as it a continuous line, the red road in op can be used to go north or south as long as you stay in the correct lane, the same is for the one in black.
