Im sure it is. Joey told me that it's scamming. I have seen it many times from different players. Reported some but admins never took action. So, its just a rulebreak that doesn't really matter.

It is or not, Im not the one who can say that. So far looks like it is not as well using "/ad" for selling guns while you have an ilegal store too.
Tips for these who want money than RP.

The point is that Fishing wasn't implemented for people to come and grind all day long on the server, It was made to improve the Roleplay and adding more realistic jobs and usage to the sea all over Liberty City.

Fireman and medics is the most active people. Now ferocia dont work for t4, but if u looked there , then most weekly active users were Ems.

i never saw a player spend the whole day fishing !
specially on T4 , i Only saw new players fishing for /tutorial !
all the players spend the whole day playing doing /fireman , /medic , or being AFK on mgs on /mechanic job .
and i saw lot of players moaning about grinding and producing money  !
well not everyone hate money ! and lets

A important question is :

What would these people do, who are active for 12 hours, if we make 1 month "No jobs month"?

what would thoes players do ? spend 12 hours role playing ?

Fishing system was changed for a reasonable and greater reason. Which is probably abusing this job for profit and grinding.

I thought it was a RP server not a money grinding server.

The only reason I am on Argonath now is because of IV:MP. Atleast here money grinding is not too much. And I would love to keep it going that way. I dont want people grinding money whole day instead of Rping.

I think its not about grinding, its kind of a problem for fishermans cause it will take more time to get those 400 or 500bucks cause LC's became harder with taxes etc, also working is a part of role play if people knew how to work(using more roleplay and imagination) the decrease of roleplay would rise again.

I was the second boat, the fast one and trust me the fisherman had Atlantic-cod before I could even step on the land aka at the fish market (Max 2 minutes later after our /trade) and that was not only once or twice, was the whole 1 hour that we was fishing. So yeah from the first hand I can say that was kinda "hacked",  ofc not with the original meaning of the word.
It was like on Trucker job, you know already when and at wich C station are the expensive cargos, so you took only these to deliver them.

Yeah i agree with that. New tax system+ Car damage  and old t3 job salaries don't work. Pays should be increased. It shouldn't be like earning 1000$ to lose 2000$. Its not really that easy to control vehicle damage in gta 4. And also, there is always someone who could blow up the gs you are filling up in and boom.

Samp and vcmp have taxes and this things but their money system provides them with very much money aswell. Its like I can do some trucking or street sweeping and get me set for 2 months. That too just for rp.

I would suggest less cost of repairing vehicles. Atleast till the time everybody can cope with vehicle damage prevention.
Firemen and medic missions should pay higher when working in a team. They should be more frequent.
Trucking should not have the timers. Like whenever I truck in samp, i stop by a lot to have some rp with passerbys.
More Job options. So that they need lesser time to be completed but are not really grindable. Like the tutorial but less.
The weed system should be equalized. Criminal money is overrated as always. Could be some less.
More Money to da cops. It will promote people to become cops.
Apartments maybe?
Allow players to set custom interiors after the client is more stable.
Tax system is perfect. I would prefer it to be calculated by the amount of properties owned by a player rather than standard values.
Make weapons a little costlier. Especially the new ones which deal heavy damage. Sniper is cheap af.
Advanced MG also.
Promote roleplay jobs. Make them great!

Taxi is such a great job with too much Roleplaying opportunities and good profit. But many people refuse to call taxi(s) even if you offer them free rides.

You would even save more money in hiring a taxi (If rewards were less, Nowadays its kinda 500+ per island q.q) than driving your car recklessly and fixing it each 10 minutes.

I everytime used to call taxi when a driver is online.
But rest of people dont call taxis someofthem are greedy on money that money is wasted LOL.

today i just tried fishing for the first time on t4 ! and it will be the last time i will fish on it !
i am really shocked about the new fishing system , honestly its really terrible
i used to fish everyday on T3 , now i will never fish again , and no one will do
lets be honest , only new players will fish for /tutorial
else i dont think others players will /fish anymore and enjooy it
also with this new system , speed boats (squalo , jetmax , tropic  ets ..) are just become useless , no one will use them anymore ,
why not removing them then ? i just see no reason for existing for thoes boats , also /gps boats ds is totaly useless now why not removing it too ?
like do u think a player will spend more than 150-180k on a speed boats  that he cant even use it on fishing ?
on the old system we used to team work on fishing , 2 and 3 players fish at the same time !
one is fishing with reefer and the other one use speed boat to sell fish and they shares the money , which is smth very good !
how about we go back to the old fishing system and this will be amazing

What if it went something like.. if you have your own Reefer boat, then you can store more fish onto it?

If you said Game then yeah but if we talk in a role play way. Then we must think of fishermans that their source of money is related to the fishes collected and to the reefer boat which i personally think it became harder.

i agree that ... old system was : unlimit baits and better prices on fishes + atlantic-cod . but now on new system i fished 50 fishes and price 348$ ...without atlantic
