Inter-server currencies

I didn't know where else to post, so...

I feel currency should be transferrable between servers. My reasoning for this is that VCMP's Vice City, SAMP's San Andreas, and IVMP's Liberty City are all cities of the United States of Argonath. In most, if not all countries, cities don't have separate currencies and I feel like money should be transferable, and truthfully, that is fair enough, it's realistic, but if I'm missing a reason why this shouldn't be implemented, please do post here.

Thanks for your time, just wanted to know, I feel like this is a realistic option, but VCMP, SAMP and IVMP Leadership would all have to agree for this to be implemented.

The server's databases are different, the server's economic balance is different and so is the worth of a single ARD.

You want money in one of the servers, earn it there.

Right.
It's so easy to earn 1m in 2-3 days in SA:MP, you would earn it and then buy yourself a Super GT in IV:MP or get a nice villa with doing absolutely nothing.

samp argo is widely known for implementing half assed features that break the economy, however I believe IVMP is somewhere on par with VCMP balance where money scripts are actually tested, personally I think with a ratio adjustment IV to VC could work.

I agree with you, Marcell. I feel like SAMP's economy as it is right now, would stuff things up here and in IVMP, but VC-IV would be a good idea, if it were fine-tuned a bit.

Plus, transferring money can be done with a simple screenshot and send it to VCMP Leadership, they can add the cash in, and IV Leadership can remove the money from your IV account, no need for a database necessarily.

It should be allowed imo.

Because even if some server's economy is "broke" that's why players put their own rates they find suitable. For example 1m VC ARD for 4m SA ARD.

It is allowed, the administration will not prevent exchanging SA:MP money for VC:MP money on VC:MP side atleast (as long as both monies are located within the Argonath RPG servers).

However, script-wise, this feature will never be supported due to the hassle it would create by having the need to calculate proper exchange rates and then monitor said rates based on each server's scripts and what not.

It's just simply put not feasible and quite frankly, too much to ask from server's management.

To be honest, the idea wasn't really a script idea, but an idea in general, to allow money to be transferred, regardless of whether it's manually added/removed, or if there's a scripted way.

It is allowed, the administration will not prevent exchanging SA:MP money for VC:MP money on VC:MP side atleast (as long as both monies are located within the Argonath RPG servers).

I've never found a problem in exchanging currencies between clients. I've done it myself, Administration of both Clients' admin teams were notified and have approved it. The only thing that might be changed in the whole process was to set a certain fixation to the rates of exchange. Know that a Liberty Dollar goes for three San Andreas ones, while it goes for one and a half Vice City...Or something among these lines, perhaps this way we can establish a servers-wide stock market, which will influence these? But yet again, this is over-complicating things. It's fine as it is, perhaps we just need to set the rates.

I have tons of money I would kill to have in IV:MP.
