New gun: Thompson 1928

[1932]

Thompson's 'gangster notoriety' grew with fame and storytelling, leading to it becoming more common, and eventually being adopted by street mobsters and police units raised to target gangsters from a sort of 'fire with fire' mentality. Thompson was the handgun of every urban crime family. Would be a nice addition to Argonath, well suiting the age and environment of the city.

I have made the icons and fixed the .dff .txd files.

Review:

A sub-machine gun, bullet damage is 24(takes 24 hp on each fire), contains 50 rounds of .45 ACP, firing speed and animations are same as Mp5 but takes few more seconds to reload due to its clip size and its low in range. These can be edited.

I like the Thompson and think this would be a nice addition, but you have to keep in mind that this is 1986, not 1936. This was a gun used in the Prohibition. The use of Thompsons faded away in the 70s. In this timeframe you could barely find it. It turned into a collector's item.

But I don't think your work should go to waste. It would be a nice addition.

just keep it a mod for yourself, it really doesn't make any sense in VC setting, also the sounds are badly levelled hence why you can hear them cutting off at full audio.

Pardon my curiosity, but I believe Kurz SMG was not an 80's era weapon either. I mean, it was developed in the 60's , but was not really a weapon you'd say was typical for that era and setting either. Bulldog shotgun is a modern, rather recent weapon if I am not mistaken, having started production in the 2000's.
