Paycheck for legal jobs

Well, I'm thinking the server should give the legal jobs salary every 24 minutes. The purpose of doing it is to increase the interest of the person to stay on their job.  The salary would be:
1. Pizza boy $50
2. Garbage collector $80
3.Trucker $100
4. Taxi $150
5. Medic $300
6.LEO (official member of FBI, SWAT, or VCPD) $400-1200 depends on the rank
The player will only receive their salary if they're not AFK in the game. Also, if you wanted to take the paycheck, you must go to the city hall and type /salary to obtain it. It will be automatically moved to your bank account. If the player failed to take it in 5 minutes, it will be removed. So what do you think?

I read this an the first thing I imagine are people taking jobs even without the purpose of doing them, and stopping by the city every 24 minutes to collect.
Sure it would encourage people to stay in their jobs, but it wouldn't encourage them to do anything in relation to the job in any way that is more than right now.

I agree with that. I'm also thinking that the amount of the paycheck should be smaller than the usual work. But for VCPD offical member, the paycheck will be based on the rank. ARPD officer won't get paycheck since they're not official member. The purpose of this idea is to add a little bit interest for people to work with legal jobs.

There are a few problems with this idea:

1. If the paycheck is smaller than the amount the player is getting from doing the job then there is no point in having an auto-paycheck script.

2. Like Dani said, what's stopping the player from just having the job but not doing it?

I'm not opposed to having a reward system based on the idea of a paycheck however. What I propose is, instead of being time based, paychecks are given when a quota is reached after a certain time frame. As an example, for each in-game day, deliver x amount of pizzas and you'll be able to collect a much more rewarding paycheck.

That could be great.  Example, I've delivered like 5 pizza today. I'll get myself 2x bonus of my payment when I type /billpizza.

Just to add on top of this - this isn't script related paycheck. This is handled by VCPD themselves.
