UNITED STATES OF ARGONATH VS. ALLISON LEONARD

I. Introduction

Greetings to the Vice City Supreme Courts,

On the 22nd of August 2022, Agent Aiden Harris was assaulted by a man known simply as Sir Alli. The individual appeared to be experiencing some sort of delusions, as though he was in an imaginary or fictional setting. This is corroborated by his identification of a katana as a "+5 fire damage enchanted sword" and an MP5 submachine gun as a "magic wand of lightning. Agent Harris' life, as a result of the actions of this apparently delusional individual in possession of a firearm and a deadly melee weapon, was placed in jeopardy.

II. Case Breakdown

On the day in question, the 22nd of August 2022, Agent Harris visited a local AmmuNation store in an undercover capacity. There, he was confronted by two men. The defendant identified himself merely as "Sir Alli" and therefore will be identified as such during this trial until the legal identity of this individual is established.

Agent Harris was confronted by Sir Alli, who assumed that he was a "rogue, thief or assassin". Agent Harris was also further confronted and intimidated by Sir Alli's brandishing of a katana, labelling it as a "+5 fire damage enchanted sword". Despite the Agent's attempts to purchase a firearm from the store and leave, Sir Alli then used a submachine gun to strike the Agent with the barrel of the firearm, knocking him over and causing him to fall onto the ground, a blatant act of assault with a deadly weapon. Sir Alli then claimed that "he got real hurt cause i have +10 strength bonus". The Agent then left the building, informing Sir Alli that his lawyer would contact him. Having done so, Sir Alli then fired the MP5 submachine gun in his possession at the Agent's vehicle, destroying the tyres, therefore vandalizing his property and endangering his safety. Sir Alli claimed the firearm was a "magic wand of lightning". Given the use of the firearm and the imminent risk to the Agent's life subsequently caused by the discharge of the firearm, the United States will consider it to also be a second count of assault with a deadly weapon [1].

Given the potential delusions of this individual and the dangers that may be posed by Sir Alli possessing any kind of firearm, the United States is immediately prosecuting this individual in the interests of public safety and to eliminate any possible threat(s) to life and property.

IV. Charges and Demands

The United States of Argonath, represented by the Federal Bureau of Investigation disseminates the following charges and monetary penalties demanded:

1.) Two (2) counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon. // $30,000 ARD.

2.) One (1) count of Endangerment. // $20,000 ARD.

3.) One (1) count of Vandalism. // $20,000 ARD.

We demand that the defendant is fined a monetary penalty of $70,000‬ ARD. We demand that should the defendants be unable to pay the amount, their assets be liquidized and sold to pay the penalty. The state also demands that the defendant be issued the following:

PRELIMINARY DEMAND: The United States demands that this individual be submitted to a psychiatric hospital for examination and a mental assessment. Depending on whether a medical professional conclusively proves delusion and the individual's sanity or insanity, the United States outlines its set of demands for each circumstance.

ALL CHARGES IF DECLARED INSANE:

Should the defendant be evaluated to be delusional or otherwise insane, the United States demands the defendant be admitted to solitary confinement and treatment in a psychiatric hospital for a minimum of 12 months (1 minute) or as otherwise advised by medical professionals responsible for the defendant's evaluation.

Furthermore, if the defendant is ruled to be delusional, insane or mentally unfit, the United States demands that per Articles 2 and 3 of Section 3 of the Constitution, that the defendant be permanently prohibited from possessing a firearm as both a penalty by law and in the interests of national security.


IF DECLARED MENTALLY FIT / SANE:

1.) 2 counts of Assault with a Deadly Weapon - we demand 4 years (4 minutes) of imprisonment.

2.) 1 count of Endangerment - per the case "United States of Argonath vs. Andrew Aky", we demand 2 years and 6 months (2.5 minutes) of imprisonment.

3.) 1 count of Vandalism - we demand 1 year and 6 months (1.5 minutes) of imprisonment.

We hereby demand an accumulated total of 8 years (8 minutes) of imprisonment.

Article 9: Assault with a deadly weapon - An assault that is committed with any type of deadly weapon, such as a firearm, or using force that is likely to cause great bodily injury to another.

2.) Endangerment

Section 5: Crimes against Person(s)
Article 12: Endangerment - Knowingly engaging in conduct that creates a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury to another.

3.) Vandalism

Section 9: Crimes against Property
Article 11: Vandalism - A person that defaces, damages, or destroys property that belongs to another.

For starters, I would like to present myself, my real, legal name is Allison Leonard, and would appreciate it that the court refers to me by either "Mr Leonard", "Mr Alli", "Alli", or anything that is not "Allison" as this name was given to me by my mother, and I dislike that name, so "Alli" for short is great, thank you very much. As calling me "Sir Alli", which is my Dungeons and Dragons roleplay name, is not appropriate for court, and it would be quite silly to call me by a fantastical name, would it not?

Secondly, I do not have a lawyer or an attorney to help me represent, and would want the respectable, honorable court to appoint me one, so I have a fair chance against this prosecution.
