New argonath, changed bad or good?

RL/RP Servers also, for the most part, suck (IMO). I don't find the idea of playing real life.

Mate let me tell you.
I played 2 years of RP servers, i'v also followed every rule back then.
But they are just bullshiting and its fake, all the REAL RP players came from Godfather and most of them left SA:MP a while ago.
Here in Argonath, everybody gets a fair chance.
In a RP server, its about power, power and power.
If you are a admin on a RP server, your god, nobody can do shit to you.
If you got a admin as a friend on a RP server, your jezus, you can fuck with everybody without getting punished.

This is also the reason why i quited leading factions on SA:MP, most RP servers have NO IDEA how to roleplay as a gang or as a mafia.
I personal have also no idea how to roleplay a REAL mafia, i only know it from games or TV.
With a gang i know more about, but these other "Big guy RPers" cry to much once they get owned.

     I disagree. Admins arent "god". Admins that have abused their power or are looked upon as not being responsible have lost their rights. And if your a friend of an admin, you can still lget in trouble. Actually, if your a regular no matter what, you will get in more trouble then a new player. And RP can go as far as long as you got imagination. A mafia isnt how its depicted in the movies, and whats dipicted in movies isnt followed here on Argo. Its actually quite different. Alot of times you go out of charector. what it should be is you have 100% respect for the "Don" and if you smart off to him you get "whacked". But its just not like that, and I wish it was. And here on SA:MP if you die, you come back so you can complain and go out of charector and cry if you get beaten. Which is pretrty pathetic because this is RPG and in RPG you have got beaten and lost, theres nothing else you can do.

     Alot of people go "Well this isnt IRL" In a way it is. IRL you cant go around killing people without punishment, neither can you in this server. And IRL you cant go around complaining to people for lil things, it just doenst work. And it shouldnt be tolerated here neither. What I find kind of interesting is that groups with admins in them, or for a leader, are looked upon as higher, or better (above) then other groups. But watcha going to do. Things arent as bad as you think they are and we should all be happy with what we got. Because if you really hated what we have here, then you would leave altogehter, now wouldnt you?

Yes, like that one (wont mention name). Where no one talks in public chat or you will get kicked, and there are like 1000 script uses. I never tried it because when I joined one time the turtoil was like 1 house long.....and I only got through half.

This is why I left SA:MP. My nerves couldnt take more of it, I didnt if I made a good thing or a bad thing I got moaning and complains on every action I took.

Argonath RPG changed a lot...

Good side: more friends and veterans, stable group of support and players...
Bad side: more and more rules requested, more and more complains on each other...

One reason of bad side I see in a very active admins team... So that other players are putting on admins shoulders more and more "tasks" to do... But themselves usually decided that sending a report is the best "help" for Argonath online... I was and will be warning those who send report to admins and start immediately demanding from admins an action...
With me it was right today when after getting a report on a player I went to spectate him... And while I was spectating him I saw a lot of "shit" from a reporter into admins side... Admins do not work, admins do nothing, etc... I warned the guy for that... It is horrible to react on your reports and listen to all crap about us, admins, doing nothing...

SA:MP server has the biggest amount of complainers and moaners... Even being on MTA:SA when were only 1-2 admins on all the time, players were not moaning that much as it does SA:MP community...

I dunno where from it came: either this players are used to moan on other servers, or we have too good admins team which is trying to react on every complain and players started to think that admins should react on every "fart"... But it is incredibly annoying... The one thing I do not like in our community...

But in all other sides - it became be good... Cos I remember the times we had to sit on server almost 24/7 cos of amount of deathmatch, hacking and cheating...

As about those who think Argonath became be bad - they have no idea what chaos it was before... And hardly they would even stay on Argonath those times...

Either there is more going on behind the scenes while ingame and there are changes since I was an admin, or the admins are lazier/wanting to play more than rather be an admin. But in my own opinion , I see a difference in the SA:MP side of things, and it's not just the admins. You are right when you are talking about the admins not reacting at every slightest move, but I myself have sent multiple reports within the space of 30 minutes, with no reaction what-so-ever, and I think a few others can back me up on this.





When people , generally older players complain about the scripts reducing the need for RP. In MTA we had VERY basic commands, basically all RP was done with the /me command. In SA:MP there are more possibilites, but these can cause alot of conflict betwee players, and seperated opinions. Older players have learned to adapt. I myself have had to adapt to atleast  script changes and updates. Those changes including admin level changes, new commands and totally new scripts.

Well, I can remember my old days... Someone invited me to play on SA:MP on argonath rpg... I loved it and we did all sorts of things together... I can remember I didnt know where the ammunation was! I was just hanging in idlewood where it was crowded !

So he said if I wanted to be a bodyguard and he used /ad and I thought it was so cool and we got a client. I failed at guarding him so he said I suck and stuff...



So yeah I "learned" that if someone killed you, you get 500$... I didnt have any money and I did not know how to gain any money yet so I provoked people 

Got around 5000$ from that... But then I learned a new way to earn money: MOLE missions!

And of course other missions... So after some weeks or so I joined Corleone and got some experience of it...




New scripts! Well I liked it at first (Pimp garage!!!) but yeah my pimp garage got blown up by the FBI because they thought it was the hideout of the Corleones 

So after that I didnt like argonath that much anymore... Perhaps its because every player is always whining...





Well, I do not like the enviroment of argonath that much anymore, same for the mafia I am in...

Admin reactions seem ok when we check. However the problem is that admins do react on reports, but can not act on them.
What I mean is that when you report a guy for carjacking or DMing, admins will spectate and see the situation.
If they see no rulebreaking, after some minutes they continue to the next report.

As players (and that includes veterans) have been known to issued false reports, by accident and on purpose, admins are no allowed to give out punishment on report, but the names are always noted and watched.
