I understood that you're not going to change the rules, fine.
However, stop this "Carhartt you f**king f**k, get the f**k out of here with your f**king ideas and your f**ked up suggestions.", because I am also talking in here with a proper langauge, I don't want to turn this topic into an argument once again, we'll not change our minds, it will result in an even bigger difference. The examples you stated above with "Hey guys!" is kind of poor. There should be a command which makes it possible to turn off the main chat, which is disturbing during the roleplay.
Let me make an example, I am roleplaying with my faction, the main chat:

I suggested a idea, regarding this, it recieved huge support, by nearly all the server - I also hope that it will be added, it also has another advantage, it stops people who get angry flaming..

As about server chat:

- I do see a lot of things in server chat and do not see bad things in it...
- I was undercover and asked questions as a new player, got answers at least from 3 people...
- I was undercover and drove all over server, walking and was not abused by any cop, free cop or ARPD, neither was attacked by any sort of deathmatchers...
- I was on server undercover and did not find the fight or shit between admins as well...
- I was on server undercover and so many "Hey Husky" "Woff woof" for example, as well as players were greeting each other and their friends...

If you are pissed off with "Hey RON" - cannot help with that... Of cos I understand that you are trying to tell your lovely idea of asskissers (Grzes already pointed about it in the topic), but sad to say to you - I have many friends... Not more then Gandalf, still a lot... And this friends are on Argonath, playing, chilling, making fun and asking what help do we need...

That is the difference between them and those, who come "ok I saw some rules on other server, lets make Argonath the copy of that, hooray"...

Once again... We are not against any kind of roleplay... But do not force roleplay you like to all community, as Argonath was NEVER the servers, which are standard on SAMP in RPG zone... Argonath was never freeroam server...
If you and your friends have no idea what is freeroam, they can visit Parallel Universe server to learn more about freeroam...

Repeating: If you came and forced rules on Argonath and Argonath did not take it - does not mean Argonath sucks and does not mean you can happily start shitting on forums "you have lack of roleplay"... It can mean other thing - Argonath did not agree with the rules you brought...

If you do not like it, and you like (as I was reading you) this rules on other server - what is the fucking problem? Just fucking go and play there, man... Do not start forcing us to take those rules...
Cos rules on every "achhu" are needed for those grown up roleplayers who have oysters IQ, that cannot see the difference between roleplay talk and friendly chatting on server...

Yes, only u cannot flame in RP and you dont have to break the server rules.

But there is no guide for whats the ''best rp in town''.
The best RP is on your own imagion, if its good or bad, we can learn u somethings.
Looking at others is also a way to learn, look at freecops.
They will join, and they will put their target on money, somethings this brings some DM with them.
But, then they know about ARPD. They will sign up for the ARPD, get accepted to ARPD and being Cadet.
After that they have the choice to apply for ARPD Academy, were are some great officers trying to learn other cadets). They will be better and on the end. They will be promoted to officer.

There is no need to cry about ''there is no RP'' , because there is enough.
Maybe some people should stop only RPing with ''your own group'' and open your eyes to the rest of Argonath.
The problem is, people didnt RP on the way ECPC liked, and after that they were complaining us we cannot RP!

That's not really true. Some ECPS members may have complained a lot, but some tried to teach people how to RP (not only the ECPS "method", also general RP which is supported by Argonath).
I tried a lot to be friendly to players, and bringing some more gang RP to server. We set up roleplay situations where other people could join in, if they were there to RP. After a while it took too much patience, we got inactive, and ended up stopping playing as ECPS.

I don't think there's a lack of RP in Argonath.
Yes, no one ever RPs a car accident, but this is also caused by the not working /call 911 command.

There's no lack of RP, look at Jcs's RP lessons. Recently, he came up with a plan about zombie's taking over the city. Shooting wouldn't help, only beating would. First most cops were called by Pancher to get all civilians to Unity Station. Then we took them to SF. After all the whole server was busy with the RP. Everyone had fun (I think).

I've learned the real RP here. I once joined a server with no main chat. I had loads of questions, but I couldn't ask them, cause I couldn't find anyone nor a main chat to ask. I've been in some of those servers. I RPed a car accident, more RP's and they all gave me compliments about my RP. Yes, sometimes I have a lack of RP, but that's because I'm pissed off of IRL or something that happened in the server (losing guns by GS9 blowing up).

And, I didn't even think about Argonath chaning, untill I read (biggest part of) this topic. The RP didn't change, but most players. We all got older than when we joined, we have more players. With that it you change. Argonath changed the good way. (although sometimes could react a little more/faster)

Well, most of the time I come to the SA:MP server I get pissed off because of something minor, but then I cool down and have fun by RPing something (an undercover cop in a fully tuned Jester for example).
The community hasn't shriveled. Most of the people are still the same, just with some new feelings coming out. Every server is different and that is good. If every SA:MP server would be the same it would be just another MMO with all the typical MMO zombies.

Oh, and I have a major beef with two of the rules: Respect all players and no flaming (IC or OOC).
I just cannot respect some of the players here because of my personal opinions + I cannot respect constant rulebreakers/hackers etc. When some hated guy gets banned and you show off your happiness you get kicked and your happiness flies away.

Also, it's hard to RP some sort of people due to the no flaming rule.

I understand that Argonath is meant to have fun and it isn't a strict RP server and it does its job good as it is fun to roleplay with your friends.
