If it will increase spamming then don't , but it would be cool addition. Question is would it have been too colorful then? :redface:

1) PMinformer: Is a red box just under your tabs, so no spam, just much more clear you have a PM, and not just a small [1] near 'MY MESSAGES'. My notification is on btw
2) Automerge is realy nice (see WS forum), and can be set off for poster who needs it (e.g. Main admins/ developpers)
3) Staff legend: I'm ready!  :devroll:

There only 4 groups of colors...

1. Administrators
2. Server leaders
3. Main admins
4. Developers

I do not see a problem to learn the colors of groups...
Or you suggest ALL groups be set to colors?
If yes - then I can tell - we did not do it in purpose not to make forums like "christmas tree"... As it is discussions sectors, not a playing with sector...

Why?

They perfectly know who is admin (who can be bothered with questions) and who is 'Just' a member...

No, I mean for newer players.
It can also come in handy to seek out the admins.
This is not essential though.

Most forums these days use it. For new players, this would be a benefit. Setting each rank a different color on the list would actually help distinguish between who is what, making people's lives easier. As for the Christmas tree comment, it's not as bad as you think. I've seen many forums use it and I personally love it. Admins aren't on as much as the mods and normal players throughout the day anyway, so I don't think your spam of PM's is going to increase that much...
As for the PM informer, it sounds nice. I'd like it.

If you guys are hesitant, you could always do a trial install and see, or even test it on the ARPD forums instead. I'm always welcome to new features, and I'm sure the rest of the community wouldn't mind too much either!

The use of colour coding the ranks would be a great benefit. I find them quite straight forward as it is, but adding this feature wouldn't be a bad idea. If it's a permanent feature, great! If we will have to (individually) install from the sites provided, that won't be so good. I found the links quite faulty and flooded with adverts, not sure why!
