Gangwar Policies

This topic is for the experimental rules drawn up by Panda and agreed upon in NitrOx's Petition.

Concept

Groups that wish to engage in fights must both agree to the conflicts that may come.
To this end, a double sided "validation" must be agreed upon.

E.G.
Group A wishes to fight Group B.
Group A must hold a validation for Group B.
Group B must also hold a validation for Group A.
Only then may they validly engage in a gangwar ingame.


Rules/Policies and Complaints

:: Once killed in a conflict, a player must not return for any reason. Only through direct agreement with the enemy gang's leader may they return (if they got carkilled by a DMer, for example).
:: If a player returns to the fight, complaints must go to their groups leader or superior ranking officer. Complaints must not go into /report.
:: If a gang's leader constantly ignores reports of his players returning (e.g. he lets them continue fighting despite protests from the other side that he already died) then quite simply, he will lose his validation from the enemy side. He will then no longer be allowed to have a gangwar with them.

This simple system means that if you show poor control of members, and poor etiquette, you will lose validations and will not be allowed to fight.
Remember:
Gangs without official double validation in this thread may not fight, even if both sides technically agree ingame.

If you attack another group, and their ally is there with them, they may aid in defense even if you are not validated. This only applies to defensive situations, when attacking you must only target a validated opponent and only bring fully validated allies with you.

Gangwar Validations

This is a list of validations. This is supposed to be a reasonably clear list, although admins enquiring should also check new replies.
To make a list of gangs you wish to validate, simply post as the leader of a group with your list (an example is below on the first post). Each time you wish to add a new gang, simply repost the form with the third question answeblack as appropriate.

This list is mostly correct, but it is always worth checking the latest posts for any addtions or severages if checking the validity of a gangwar. Every now and again there will be a post saying "Current & Up To Date". Any posts after this message should be checked, along with this list.

By the way, I have a question.

For example, if Luvineri and Gvardia are on eachothers validations, do you gotta agree everything before the war, or can it just be an unexpected attack? (With a reason, ofc.)

Correct.
Although bear in mind that attacks on like 2 members, or griefing in general - will probably cause the enemy gang to drop your validation.
Its all self-policed, people.

Do you need to have a reason, like a conflict just happend but we survived, let's get back at them, or is being enemies a valid reason too?

At this time, I think its reasonable to try a few different things.
If people have issues with some peoples' actions, then we can discuss them at a friendly all-gang meeting.
Best way to find good reasons for attacking is to trial different options, after all.

If anybody has any thoughts they are welcome.

I woud like to point, that a "signal " to rival group shoud happend, like crusing around there HQ, or  organizing unfriendly meeting.

Storming in rival HQ, with 2 or 3 boys , one afk, one without weapon, and one alone in combat, is more then retarded in my point of view.

Also i woud like to note, that we WONT atack rivals when there is only 1-2-3 members of them online, with 30 mans. No not cause we are only moral and stuff, but because that woud create revenges, and too much gang wars in one day then required.

Correct.
Whilst technically within the rules, the leader of any gang that does this should be immediately contacted. If they refuse to cooperate, simply cut your validation and you're good to go. Further attacks are admin punishable as gangwar without validation.
