Well I can honestly say that there's a lot of shit going around about Russia here. Used to believe it but did some research and all that came out is a bunch of lies from our side. That's kinda sad actually. I guess we're still sore about all that occupation .

To send data from one computer to another by the internet is unsafe by default. Most company network administrators are very reluctant about giving people the possibility to use Skype as it compromises network safety.
Skype is extremely easy to listen in to for script kiddies and industrial spies.

Now think about the next thing. To send the data from one computer to another it needs to travel by some method.
This method are usually either satellites or glassfibre cables.
The big network cables and commmunication sattellites are owned by.... the phone companies.
The highest cost of internet for the providers is data traffic. And that money goes straight in to the phone providers pockets. So even if you Skype 'for free' you pay the phone copmanies for the data traffic. If it is in a monthly fixed bill, nobody cares.

Why would Skype close Russia ? Not because its Russia who wants it closed....
Its because Russians use programs that use skype, MSN or ICQ but block or do not dispay the ads. No ads = no money for Skype. Skype gets no money...they close the network.

Russia is one of the kings of pirated software, why do you think The Pirate Bay based one of their backup server's there? Due to internet laws, that is what all of this is basically about, internet laws, stupid , uneccessary laws that again all lead back to one thing - money, that's all any company in the world or internet has been after since day 1, is money, and if they fail to do that. They just shut down their branch that isn't makking what they should, hence what is happening with Skype.

First of all, sorry for you i'm not Nazi. Maybe most fucked Estonians like that overdumb Ansip and our ministers,which force to talk on Estonian only in Estonia. Sadly, but that's true, they even attempt to close up Russian-based schools or prevent them from Russian-language education and put on Estonian-language based. (That's pretty fucked up for me, as i mostly hate the Language itself and i have 3's in school )
Second, where did i mention Medvedev is an idiot? Ansip is.
Third, about money i don't give a shit about those politics, only in total.

No country is perfect in any case. Russia is not an exception, and, maybe you deny it, but sometimes it also gets fucked, but more less and more easier than in Estonia *sigh*

As the reason is NOT in delivery time, but in PRICE for the product... 10 years ago with the standard salary in 400$ (and it was in Moscow) Microsoft asked for OC Windows original - 1000$... THAT'S IT the reason of piracy in Russia...

Ok this is now the ranting topic so if you want to rant about anything just do it here .

Personally I am pissed off by the WoW installation bullcrap. I've been patching WoW for like 1 and a half hours just to play WoW with Altair... It's like freaking sluggish. It's like 10 GB of material at most and it takes 2 hours to complete while when I install Oblivion (4GB, a bit more) it takes less than 10 minutes... They should really fix crap like that. They should also give people the choice of patching as my friend can't play WoW anymore because the patches made it too big for his hard drive...

Well what's wrong with that Estonia say's that official language in Estonia is Estonian? It means when you do your researches and work on places where you have to communicate with people you have to speak that language. It doesn't mean that you can't speak Russian within your own crowd. Anyway if you live in Ida-Virumaa, you don't even have to know Estonian because all facilities Police,Fire Department, Hospital, Schools, local authorities they all speak Russian. That means to me, that there is at least 1 county of 15 where I actually would be in difficulties to live - Even though it is still my home country. When I enter Ida-Virumaa - for me it is like entering a foreign country, really.
When it comes to improving Russian language in Estonia I don't get it, why they didn't proceed with the old laws which states: Estonian government supports all cultures that are present on Estonian territory. Because like I've heard from so many people, even Estonian themselves, that they see how Russians who are borned in Estonia can't really write Russian anymore as their grammar just is so bad. I think if government would support the progress Russian culture in Estonia it would also make Estonian culture more acceptable for them.

Because mostly what schools and kindergardens want is to promote education on Estonian/English language, unlike promoting Russian. Children starting to loose in Russian, and that's why they understand gramma bad.
