Re-gaining health in combat- solving the issue

Personally, I think that this is irritating. The number one scene for shootouts because of its secure, one main opening and high fence wall also happens to be a hospital catered for the shooters.

An ambulance takes time to respond that far, the police officer knows that he can't call the ambulance near the site for public safety, running from cover to get around a corner to get to the ambulance is much different then /enter, walk, /buy milk, /exit, and start shooting.

Once the officer leaves cover, he is exposed until he gets to a corner, when the suspect /enter, and he is completely safe from harm.

If the officer is using a car for cover, he can't use it to get to the medic, for 2 main reasons. 1, he would lower the amount of cover and possibly leave the suspects a wider way to escape, 2, the vehicle could very easily be shot and explode, both ruining his cover, and transportation, and possibly furthering his injuries.

This is a role-play server, is milk a standard form of medical treatment?

It shouldnt take a very long time to call for back up and ambulance.

just park police car 1 block away from our HQ, hide behind ur cruiser and call for back up, and ambulance. When ambulance arrives, have it parked a block or 2 away from HQ not to get in the line of fire.
just think of IRL, if cops see there is a more then 1 heavily armed suspect shooting things around, would cops charge the suspects and start exchanging fire with them? No. They would call for back up, ambulance, fire department, and even SWAT (at least in USA). I know this is not RL server, but im just saying... why not use this, to make more RP if you would like to.

Cops have lined up ambulances around the corner, and lets say gvardia doesn't have the bar..
Cops run back to the ambulance for health. Fair? No.

Medic = Not always on, and certainly not always close.

Milk = Inside the HQ anytime you please, with a 10 second walk to it, and a quick command back into action.

SWAT = Not always on, again, the milk is always there.

Parking A Block Away = Everytime I do that, the suspects charge the blockade and kill me LONG before backup arrives, and not just new players who know you can't charge the police, some of Gvardia's highest ranks.

Charging Suspects = If I decide to ever charge, I do damage, if not, I get killed by some bull shit sniper shot.


All of this unrelated stuff aside, the bar is already defined as not supposed to be there, and I only reply for my own sanity.

Remember, we aren't all SASD and SACS members. The SASD and SACS have the highest level of training, because they work extremely hard to give training to all their members, which is why I encourage people, especially new police units, to join them. SASD and SACS do bring medical units, but the principle is that their ambulances are supposed to be there. You did get your answer. I would like to stress that the bar, is not supposed to exist, thus being the reason for the tempban (Which you already know from other's posts). I would also like to point out that again, the bar is always there, it doesn't have a sign that says "Out Of Order" because someone isn't there to be the bartender. The EMT is not. A police unit can always, yes go off police duty, and then go on medic duty, and then respond to the scene. That results in a lack of a unit, which is critical for the first 1-15 minutes because there are not enough units to secure the scene. A police officer on duty is told that when a Code 30 goes out, through hell or high water you are to get to the location, as soon as you can get there, no questions asked. Leaving the scene, to go off police duty at SFPD, drive to the hospital, go on duty, grab an ambulance and get back the site is not probable, especially when shots are actively being exchanged. Financially, it seems that the criminal world is far richer then the law enforcement one. I was told at one point, recently, that a police unit can never purchase weapons. They must be issued. To my surprise, I found this to be true to a lot of police units. Yes we can return after death, and you cannot, and I am sure that matters, but does it really matter so much when you won't die? Police have to reorganize, then they respond. And if you have ever listened to the police radio when an active shootout is occurring at your HQ, you would know a lot of units don't want to go back, and some don't, because of these reasons. So fairness? I don't expect any "fairness" from either side, one side is bound to have an advantage at one point, and the other at another, that's the way it works, and I know that.

Lets get something straight: YOU can Return after death, we CANT- I find this More  irritating, then our bar. Also in 90 precent of combats with Law Force, Mostly SASD, ALLWAYS have ambulance with them, and they normaly use it, wich i find normal, and fine.

Now imagine, in situation when we are in a combat, in some other place:1) YOU get ambulance to regain HP 2) You can return after death Us? No Advantege at all, wich makes you have more then two advantege, so enough about fairness, since we dont "moan, complain" etc about your advantege.
Like Eugene said, SF Hospital is NEXT to Gvardia HQ, and there is allways 2 ambulance.

This isn't a team deathmatch server to have combat situations equal between cops and criminals.

And criminals are actually meant to avoid police when committing crimes, not just do crimes in public and then run.

Allowing players to not be realistic, but forcing commands to be realistic is just meh(again, I'm not opposed, nor do I really care outside of this discussion).

Not true, you can be up to 20 metres away

This enables you to do it from the corridor outside, VERY close to the entrance

Indeed.

But the last traffic stop I was in, the passenger exited and killed me with an M4 in less then 5 seconds. I asked him in PM to explain to me how that was a justified kill, he replied that he is in a mafia, and he hates cops.

And that, has happend on more then one occasion, and not with any player, some with Argonath's regulars.

And when it comes down to it, the bar is not supposed to exist, and shouldn't be used.
