Hello guys, I've decided to write this topic to appeal to those who complain about the player amount that we have on the ArgonathRPG VC:MP server.

Firstly, I would like to say the Vice City map is very different compared to the San Andreas map, it is obviously smaller, also the VC:MP isn't capable as yet of doing something similar to what the SA:MP client can do.

So lets say you are intrested in playing on the VC:MP server, but then you open the VC:MP client and you only see 0-3 players on Argonath, then you think to yourself the server is always like this?

You should not think this, just like the MTA:VC, and MTA:SA servers, the VC:MP server is active at different times of the day, and generally is not always empty, however there may be a certain point of the time in a day where you check and you see no players. Don't be discouraged by this as like I said, its just a point of the day, don't think it will be like this all day.

If your thinking, how can I make the VC:MP server active or start some activity?

Well if one person joins the server, and another spots they might join the server and that cycle will go on and on until a decent amount of players are on, this has happend many times of me trying this and is a very efficent method.

So now you maybe thinking why is 10-15 players a good amount for VC:MP?

Well, VC:MP is a very different client and map to SA:MP, it can do less things that SA:MP can, the whole system of RP works differently, you can spawn to change skin rather then things like buying clothes at shops or /duty, however this might be implemented to VC:MP because of the R2 release of 0.3, but this will take time for the scripters to work out how to do if its possible.

And finally, you might be saying, well if VC:MP and SA:MP is so different Fabio, why do you always complain about SA:MP players being money/power greedy?

Well, dosen't matter how the SA:MP and VC:MP client are so different, the player is the one who does something to effect the server, not the client, the player should take responsibility of what they are doing, shouldn't only be bothered about money and power, and should be enjoying themselfs in other methods that don't cause trouble on the server.

If your wondering about things like VCPD, FBI, races, DD's, and stuff, these things are also done on VC:MP.

For the past week or so the server has not been on the internet tab. Just if your wondering about the low numbers of new players.
We will fix this with the new scripts

VCMP was my first Argonath server and when I get chance I play as I do run a gang on VCMP. :hurray:

Get rid of Klaus, let another person lead to VC:MP community, then VCMP Argonath will look better and get more attention. I've personally talked at least 50 percent of server regulars, all agreed with me. They just can't say it because who they're against is the community leader.

Sorry it seems a bit off topic but couldn't find a better place to say. At least it might bring back some good roleplayers who left the server/moved to SA:MP because of such cases, so it would get more players in game. Seriously i think its one of the biggest problems of VCMP community.

Don't matter who it is, action will be taken if decent evidence is shown. Something that never is for me.. coincidence? I think not

Orly? Because I can only think of about 3 players 'in such cases'. If your any good in maths, you'll notice this is quite far off %50.
And if we lose players like you to SAMP. That's a gain, not a loss.

Seriously i think its one of the biggest problems of VCMP community.

Except that Klaus is the founder of an extraordinary group, he is a fairly-minded, clever, decisive and active person. He can be simultaneously funny and serious, but his best characteristic is pacific settlement of disputes. Klaus helped Argonath the most to become more popular and increased the number of visitors with the activity of players covered by EAF.

From my opinion nobody including me can reach his level of wisdom, so there's no need to "get rid of him".

So the best way to secure the future marbling of Argonath VCMP is to change nothing.

Klaus is a very active player in the server.
A Leader who actually plays ingame knows what is right and wrong better than anyone else.

I think he is the best man for the job :thumbsup:

Klaus may be a really patient and good Admin,but sometimes i seriously feel,that you create own Rules.I do not want to offend you,just to alert.And as i have also opinions,i think there should be players with long experience asked about what they feel of special things,admins,what do i know.That would also show a bit more directness by leaders against Players.

Oh and denlow,that was a bit charmed to him,ease it up :lol There are always changes :>
