If you say, this is exactly the same thing, they want everyone to be equal. While most of em if they got a chance to go higher, they wont miss the opportunity.
In fact, the ones who keep asking for cash, for Car, the ones cry because prices going high, and that they cannot buy a car, they link it with the Roleplay, and blame it for that.

This system has been in development for OVER 18 months, just back then I did not have the skills to implement it.
It has been slow work, making changes to how the system used to work to allow for the final stages to be less harmful in trying to ensure players will not actually have to start all over again.
I am nearing the final stages and yet again the moaners are those that have LOTS of money and are moaning cos they about to loose what they paid above the dealers value for a vehicle..

Why do I bother trying to IMPROVE things if all we get is moaners, and yes MyleS do NOT let me catch you moaning in game that is a threat !!

I don't even get the point in having more than one car...how many you'll drive at once? Seems pointless for anything other than bragging rights.

It is cool to have more then one car! Imagine you don't want to RP a limo driver all the time, but also want to have a towtruck? Or you want a bike for you bikers club, but also want to play pizza boy?

Imagine you crash while freecops are chasing you, when you relog in, Call a taxi! Before you could type /taxi, you dont need me to tell you what happens.

Didn't CBFasi said the car position will also be remembered? Well, the car will return to your crash position.

Yeh but people will just want have like sultans bullets and infernus whats the point of that?

Yeah, the scripters and owners know that, but they also stated that people would get bored. They will buy other cars for good RP's and not just the fast ones. For me, maybe I will buy a bullet... (just for the feeling) But I prefer to have some good RP cars.


This upcomming update got GREAT opportunities! Not only for a flexible car system which is pointing more towards the RP side of this server, but also for updates in the feature. Like CBFasi said, implementing this in a criminal group system is one of those things.

Look at it from all sides before you decide to moan.

CBF this is a great update, yes you are right, RICH RICH players with $$$$$$$$$$$$ moan now, but It's very good for average people, who didn't have the chance to buy a 'good' car. I fully support this idea.

Celeborn, i understand your concern about the prices is being kinda ''fucked'' up.. But also remember this is not a realistic server and yet you can get sport cars in less than 6 months, its just about how much you play and how lucky you are, after about 2 months i could had over 500k because of lotteries, events, paydays and hard work at officer. Its basicly up to each person how much time they spend, its the same in real life kinda, you wont get anything expensive if you dont work hard for it or atleast being active into it.

Im not one of those that wants argonath to be strict rp but i think you should consider this, and no i dont even have a vehicle at the moment since i sold my huntley and yes i do have about 1.5m so no moan from here.

You call everyone who doesnt agree with you, moaner.
I didnt say that new players shouldnt get a car.
Its about people who keep telling some crazy shit about this.
I really liked the idea to buy any car at the dealer.

I Repeat, what i cant stand at all:
- Presence of stat cars.
- Cars Disappearing after the owner leaves.


If you ask me about my opinion In Game, i would say the same, Knowledge that you would ban me. My comments might be harsh.
But as far as im concerned, ive been playing Argonath, too. I prefered it from many other servers, i used to enjoy it. But i cant see it getting worse.

How dare you CBFasi, call players who are giving their personal opinions moaners?! while it was you who created the topic, and gave them the opportunity to do so?

I really like this whole idea of the scripts, it will allow all players to be equal, money means nothing although some think money is respect, theyre just confused.
Thanx to what this script will do will give equal rights to all players, old or new, rich or poor will all have similar opportunities for cars.


And seriously, MyleS, you would also be pissed off if you had spent more than 18 months working on something which people go and criticise all you have done and put effort into.
Now honestly, dont go and give CBF a hard time, he has been spending his personal time on working on scripts for ALL who play on the server, just give him a break and dont argue with him.

People are comming here and they just keep telling they lost money, saying it is not fair. They don't give good balanced solutions, they don't see this from other sides, they only care about money. If I would lose 1.5 mill, I don't care. I give more about good RP's.

I don't think you want to be in CBFasi's shoes at the moment. He is giving all his free time to make things for Argonath, and all those people just moan..

CBFasi's said that they will work on a criminal group script after this update. And because of this upcomming update, it will be a lot easier to set gangcars. I think you will have to wait some time for this, don't know if there is a solution in the mean time.
